I think that's it. I'd stopped writing them down and actually already threw the pieces of paper in the trash earlier this week, luckily they were still on top and I'd watched a lot of series the last few days so I didn't have too many titles to remember. Might miss a few, but mostly the list is complete.
Here are the ones worth mentioning in more detail:
Doctor Strange (Theatre): I really, really liked it. Only sad I didn't get to see it in 3D because I think that would've added a lot to the crazy visuals. It's an origin story, but magic, metaphysical shenanigans and timetravel made for a nice change from the usual superheroes and supervillains beating on eachother. Liked it better than Civil War...
Star Trek Beyond (Theatre): Don't remember if this was already posted on the old boards and also can't remember if I saw it in 3D or not. Anyway, it was OK. Maybe a little too jokey but it certainly fit with the rest of the reboot movies.
The Greasy Strangler (Download): ROFLMAO! This was the craziest movie I've seen in a while. So nasty, dirty and perverted, filled with cringe comedy and a weirdly shaped huge old man's penis. 80% of the movie there's some or other character with an unflattering body running around completely nude. I thought it was hilarious, especially the chips scene, which you'll recognise if you ever see the movie. Be warned however, it is very weird and disgusting...
Computer Chess (Download): Mumblecore apparently is what a movie like this is called. I called it boring beyond belief and switched it off after 45 minutes because this so-called comedy hadn't even managed to make me smile the faintest of smiles by then and I wanted to blow my brains out if I'd had to sit through another 45 minutes of similar boring unfunniness...
Sausage Party (Download): Very low brow but hilarious in its unsophisticated nudge nudge wink wink double entendre punny demeanor...
I Am Not a Serial Killer (Download): Great little low-budget atmospheric horror flick starring Christopher Lloyd, NOT playing a crazy old scientist for once, just playing a really old man. Don't look up any info, don't get spoiled, just take my word for it and give it a chance.

A few more worth mentioning:
The Brothers Grimsby (Download): Started watching with low expectations but the filthiness soon took me by surprise and I have to admit I loved it. Went completely over the top with the low brow shenanigans and I thought it was hilarious. Probably says more about me than it does the movie, but I'll take it...
Yoga Hosers (Download): Fans of Hollywood Babble-on will find the finale hilarious. It's all quite silly but it knows it and has fun with it. Far from Smith's best work, but Ralph Garman keeps it tolerable...
Antibirth (Download): White trash low budget horror flick that somewhat annoyed me at first but it also kept me interested enough to make it to the really fucked up finale, which made all that came before it worth watching.
Swiss Army Man (Download): Extremely indie but also pretty weird, which kept it interesting. Watch a trailer and imagine that for 90 minutes...
Train to Busan (Download): Korea reminds us that serious zombie movies can still be good when done properly. Even fast zombies couldn't bring this movie down. Does for zombies what the Host did for big monsters...
Black Mirror - Season 3 (Download): 6 new episodes of which 2 were absolutely great, 1 was kinda boring and 3 were about on par with the first 2 seasons. There's still more planned and I for one can't wait.

Grrf, already forgot a couple:
Lights Out (Download): Full feature of the really neat short movie. Didn't think it was particulary good. The opening espacially was really weak, somewhat trying to emulate the short but failing. They instantly cheat their own rules regarding the light and dark. Afterwards it redeems itself a little and has 1 especially effective scene involving a flickering neon sign outside a window but on the whole I can't really recommend it...
The Mind's Eye (Download): Newest (low budget) flick by the guy that did Almost Human but instead of the Thing, he now takes on Scanners. Wasn't bad but on the whole I like the Thing better than I do Scanners so even with homages, I lean more towards the Thing than I do Scanners. To be fair, this movie had way better acting that Almost Human...
edit: another one
Vice Principals - Season 1 (Download): ROFL. Didn't have high expectations but I found this series to be hilarious. Danny McBride plays his usual character but Walton Goggins is great as an effeminate but ruthless asshole...
edit: and another one
Pawn Shop Chronicles (Download): A (horror) anthology movie directed by Wayne Kramer (the Cooler/Running Scared), ought to be good... ...bit disappointing really. First segment was OK but didn't really go anywhere, second was OK but dumb and the 3rd was just bad. If I ever find it cheap I might give it another shot, but I'm in no hurry to look for it.
Yet another one:
Dagon (Download): Remember watching on DVD before and not liking it. Not much has changed.

The Pacific (Bluray): While you can't help but compare it to the superior Band of Brothers, it still is a great series in its own right. I started watching last night with the intention of seeing just a few episodes, till I was bored of it, but I ended up watching the whole thing in one go...

I rewatched all of BoB over two days when I was off work sick the other week... IIRC it was actually the first BluRay that I purchased. It reminded me that I've still never seen The Pacific. NUTS! Simon Pegg was one of the writers. Here's some old school slagging (with the man himself chiming in!) from sixteen years ago... www.angelfire.com/super/sotcaabits/forums/thepointofsimonpegg.html

Kung Fu Hustle (Bluray): Doesn't seem like the kids are as big a fan of Stephen Chow as I am.
Body of Lies (Bluray): Didn't know what to watch last night. This title didn't immediately ring a bell so it got chosen. It's a solid flick.
Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story (DVD): ROFL! So many hilarious lines in this...

Kung Fu Hustle: I was just rewatching it the other night. It oozes style. I was lol at the Three Stooges like antics of the Axe Gang boss and his aide in their car watching the fight between their guys and landlady and her husband. The husband uses the drunken fist style, am I right? A lot of attention to detail in the scenes at landlady's apartments. Did you notice the shadows when the one master was walking away and one of the killers sent a strumming chord from his musical instrument at him? You could see the shadow of a cat getting cut in two. The movie is just amazing.

So how many hours per week do you usually spend watching TV/Movies? Since I work nights during the week and stay in the same sleeping pattern during the weekend, I have 2 weekend nights all to myself just to watch movies, so anywhere from say 10PM to about 7AM. Every morning after work and before going to bed I usually watch something as well, usually episodes of (animated) series on DVD/Bluray or whatever episodes of series I'm following were torrented from the night before, like the Walking Dead or Agents of SHIELD. Ash vs Evil Dead as well. TV I hardly watch, the only things I record nowadays are some BBC comedy panel shows like Have I Got News for You or Mock the Week... The husband uses the drunken fist style, am I right? I guess, or maybe something made up because he seems like he's made from elastic, having punches bounce off him. And yes, I've noticed the cat. Did you notice the guy who was washing his hair and got slapped by the landlady, later in a panning shot of Pig Sty Alley, you can see him taking a shit on the floor...

War Dogs (Download): Light but fun biopic about some dudes turned arms dealers. Jonah Hill pretty much steals the show. Like Lord of War but lighter and more fun.
Hell or High Water (Download): Great, loved it! Ben Foster and reboot Kirk rob banks for a reason, old Jeff Bridges tries to stop them. Great dialogue, great acting, great setting, great movie. Must buy for sure.
Feuchtgebiete (Download): Aka Wetlands. Movie about the (sexual) adventures of a girl with roids. Part sexy, part gross but quite amusing on the whole.
Don't Breathe (Download): Pretty good little horror flick about some kids breaking into the house of a blind war veteran. He's having none of that...
The Monster (Download): Creature feature with too little creature and too much drama. Still, I kinda liked it, it certainly had its moments.
Twister (TV): Have it on DVD, probably one of the first 20 movies I ever bought on DVD, but I'd hoped the TV version would be in HD. Still not sure about that, don't think the res was much higher than the DVD. Anyway, entertaining movie still, the kids weren't complaining...

Fargo - Season 1 (Bluray): Greatness. I bought this season for cheap right after I'd already seen a downloaded version so I had to give it some time before I could rewatch it. Now if only I could find the second season just as cheap... Star Wars - Episode VII - The Force Awakens 3D (3D Bluray): They took their sweet ass pimp time getting the 3D version released but at least I realised what they were doing right from the start so I never bought the original release and just waited it out (with the help of a downloaded version ).

F is for Family - Season 1 (Download): Was watching a lot of Bill Burr stuff on youtube and heard him talking about this. It's a 6-episode animated series in the vain of the Simpsons/Family Guy but more grounded in reality. It's OK, not great but it's always nice to hear when Bill Burr gets angry/excited and his character has to do that quite a bit, lol. Also stars Justin Long, Laura Dern and Sam Rockwell and David Koechner.

The Ghost Writer (Bluray): Solid thriller, nothing more, nothing less.
Rosemary's Baby (Download): Hadn't seen this one before, probably waited to long to see it because I'm not really on board. I don't see why this needed to be 2 hours and 15 minutes long, it's not like a lot happens. I understand this might have been somewhat shocking in the '60s, but in the 21st century it's rather weak on the shock value.
Jacob's Ladder (Download/DVD): 1080p bluray rip, but I might as well have put on my DVD because the image quality was rather weak. The movie is still good but deserves a better HD release...
Jackass Number Two (DVD): ROFL, it had been a few years since I last saw this so I'd forgotten a lot. I watched it because I thought the kids would find it funny but I wanted to see if it was appropriate for them first. Not really, I'd have to skip a lot if I was to show it to them. All the bodily harm stuff is fine, but there's a lot of gross/sexual stuff as well.

I understand this might have been somewhat shocking in the '60s, but in the 21st century it's rather weak on the shock value. Solid flick about paranoia but I agree with shock value. That is how I felt when I watched Rocky Horror Picture Show. I imagine in the 1970s being a tranny might be shocking but I was like meh. Jacob's Ladder (Download/DVD): 1080p bluray rip, but I might as well have put on my DVD because the image quality was rather weak. The movie is still good but deserves a better HD release... This movie was my favorite when I was younger but I have seen it so many times I am totally burned out lol

Officer Downe (Download): Apparently based on some or other comic book. Looked like it could be OK but it lacked budget and probably also talent to make it stand out. Would've been interesting to see what someone like a James Gunn could've made of the source material because now all that's left is a few neat kills that could make a nice gif but not much else.
22 Jump Street (Bluray): One of those sequels that's as good, maybe even better than the first. In any case, it's pretty funny.
Lesbian Vampire Killers (Bluray): Never gets old.
Jackass: the Movie (DVD): Not as good as the second, but still hilarious.
Captain Fantastic (Download): Tries very hard to be the next Little Miss Sunshine but the characters aren't as interesting and there's too little levity. To be fair, I put it on with the hopes of falling asleep during it but it certainly kept me awake so I guess it isn't all bad. Just a tad too hippy with characters that are less identifiable than LMS...

I'm probably just prejudiced against Horne & Corden having seen their "comedy" on TV before. Cunts. I got/watched a decent enough film I'd never heard of before last week; surprising given the director/cast... 'The Package' by Andrew "The Fugitive" Davis - starring Gene Hackman & Tommy Lee Jones, Dennis "Sipowicz" Franz & Pam Grier are in there too. www.imdb.com/title/tt0098051/

Sicario (Bluray): I wasn't too blown away when I first saw this but decided to buy it anyway and rewatch with adjusted expectations. I was able to appreciate it a lot more now and I even think it's pretty good. The prisoner transport over the border especially is really neat...
The ABCs of Death 2 (Bluray): Brexit and the subsequent devaluation of the pound made it viable to use amazon.co.uk again, which I want to do for movies like this and Sicario, which use multiple languages. UK releases only subtitle the non-English parts whereas Dutch or Belgian releases often just have to option to have Dutch subs on or off, subtitling either everything or nothing, requiring me to switch them on and off as needed, which sucks. Anyway, ABC movies are both great with hits and misses all over the alphabet but on the whole a very enjoyable experience.
Chilling Visions: 5 Senses Of Fear (Download): Another horror anthology, one I downloaded a long time ago, kept but never rewatched, until last night. Uneven segments but never boring and the last one is the best...

Hide and Seek (Download): Another movie I'd downloaded a long time and only saw the once but remembered liking a lot. Good thing about that was I had actually forgotten a lot about the plot which once again managed to surprise me in a good way. It's the thriller all thriller should try to be. FYI, this is a Korean flick, not the American one with the same name.
No Escape (Bluray): Aka Owen Wilson runs weird, but good movie in spite of that. I like how they keep you in the dark about what the rebels are saying, just like the characters would be.
The Brothers Grimsby (Download): I'd originally put on Killer Pad, a comedy by Robert Englund, but I had to switch that off for being completely and utterly horrible in every way. There's better ways to get low brow humor and The Brothers Grimsby is it...

Rush (Bluray): Great movie. Daniel Brühl's speech patterns are so authentic Lauda, lol.
White Girl (Download): Gave it a shot because someone compared it to kids but it's not nearly as good/memorable. Basically it's dumb blonde slut does dumb blonde slutty things while fucking up the lives of everyone around her and then the movie ends. Not even all the sex could save this from obscurity...

Quarry (Download): 8-episode series about a dude that returns from Vietnam and gets recruited to become a hitman. It was very, very... ...OK. Wouldn't watch it again probably and can't really recommend it but I still managed to watch it all in 1 weekend, so it certainly wasn't bad. Main character however has a very distracting lump in the middle of his forehead which will occupy most of your time when he's on screen...
Jack Reacher (Bluray): I really like this movie.
Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn (DVD/Download): Have it on DVD, obviously, but downloaded a bluray rip just to see if it was worth it. The jury is still out on that one.

10 Cloverfield Lane (Bluray): Still feel it should've ended sooner, but it's a solid flick even with the ending as it is.
The Neon Demon (Download): The promise of a fucked up finale is what got me to watch this movie but I should've known better. The finale was indeed OK but everything up to that point was cinephile arty wank with irritating and unsympathetic characters that I didn't give 2 shits about.
The Eyes of my Mother (Download): I half expected this to be some slow psychological horror, especially with it being in black and white and all, but it turned out to be a rather fucked up horror flick that was more visceral than expected. Not to give too much away but that chick is all kinds of fucked up.
Army of Darkness (Dir Cut DVD/Download): Have this on DVD, but it's the region 3 and I really wanted to watch this with the kids, so I found a decent HD version but no Dutch subs, so I downloaded some English ones and translated them myself. Pretty well done, if I say so myself. As for the movie: Nigh on perfect movie, isn't it?

Army of Darkness (Dir Cut DVD/Download) I have the 2-disc Anchor Bay DVD but the Directors Cut disc is fucked and won't play for some reason. I'd get the trilogy on BR (£12.99 from Amazon) but it doesn't have the AoD d-cut.
