You want to know why I don't talk about Koch often, ForReal. How often do you guys see Koch in the headlines? I see Gates, Zuck, Buffet, Musk often and a handful of others like Forbes, Bloomberg, Soros fairly often.
Regardless, we already know the right stands for pro-corporatism and bringing back things like increased oil production, as they openly admit it. Where's the fun debating about that and who's even going to debate?

There's more to Musk's lawsuit againt Altman than I realized. They have business history together on OpenAI. Still not seeing Musk's angle of attack tho, since it sounds like Musk chose to part ways.

There's too much money changing hands in American politics. The system of corruption feeds on itself and this is why we'll never see campaign finance reform. Both sides do it. If you attack the opposing party or try to change the system, it's almost the same as attacking yourself (your own party will come after you and blacklist you). Dean Phillips said, in an interview, that this has been happening to him since he decided to run against Biden in the primaries, using his own money rather than accepting money from wealthy donors. Another major factor hurting Phillips' chances is the rampant/increasing Antisemitism going on in the west.

There has never been this much carbon in the atmosphere. The question is at what point does it start to maybe harm fetus in-utero, also there is talk of mens fertility counts dropping as well as testosterone. Sure this doesn't help. To help put your mind at ease, the danger to humans from changes in atmospheric gas composition is pretty much nil because CO2 makes up only about 0.04% of the atmosphere. news.climate.columbia.edu/2019/07/30/co2-drives-global-warming/From the standpoint of changes in actual atmospheric concentration, the numbers aren't as scary as they make it seem in the graphs you've posted. We can run the numbers from the graph you posted. To convert from ppm to percent, divide the ppm by 10000: x(%) = x(ppm) / 10000 Source (for the formula): maxtables.com/convert/number/ppm-to-percent.html#:~:text=How%20to%20convert%20ppm%20to%20percent%201%25%20%3D,ppm%20by%2010000%3A%20x%28%25%29%20%3D%20x%28ppm%29%20%2F%2010000 Use the above formula to find % measurement at t0 (1750) and t1 (2022). Then substract values at t0 from t1, to find the actual % increase. ppm (t0) = 278ppm/10000 = 0.0278% ppm (t1) = 420ppm/10000 = 0.042% (t1 - t0) (0.042 - 0.0278) = a mere 0.0142% increase (as a % of earth's total atmosphere) CO2 levels (being only 0.042%) would need to be an order of magnitude higher than that (that is, >10x higher), for it to be toxic to humans (based on OSHA's published safety limit). Scientists' concern about rising CO2 is the effect it has on climate, not so much breathability of our atmosphere.

That's a 0.0142% increase in CO2 over a 271 years span of time. At this rate, to 10x our atmospheric CO2 levels would require thousands of years at a consistent rate of CO2 output.
Many scientists and engineers believe that achieving net positive energy from nuclear fusion reactors is only a matter of time.. I think we're good for a long while, as far as the Earth remaining habitable (all else being equal - as in, we don't 100% deforest the planet or have a global nuke war). That's not saying global warming couldn't cause billions or trillions in damages, or result in rising human death tolls (due to more hurricanes, increasing drought/famine, and the like). I'm just saying it appears unlikely that human CO2 output, by itself, would be enough to make the air unbreathable or extinct the human race.

I'm pretty sure it's bullshit anyway because, last I checked, the recent stats have been showing a decrease in the average life expectancy of Americans.

All this shit is no good for people. All it does is create bickering and hate. Most of politics is distraction to take peoples' attention off of the rich robbing the 99% blind via fiat currency and its built-in inflation (lowering our standard of living, while increasing their wealth). They'll take down your bitcoin and crypto, because that's a vector in which ppl could escape our rigged monetary system.. just wait and see.

www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/russia-launches-sweeping-attack-on-ukraine-power-sector-and-says-it-s-now-war/ar-BB1kpraR?rc=1&ocid=winp1taskbar&cvid=18d03c44d58b48dda003933800d55d45&ei=24Did MSN and AP turn right-wing nutters to report such contrivances. How dare they suggest there's any chance of Ukraine losing? Seriously tho, that was narrative before, individually saying Ukraine could lose this war was a big no-no and got you labeled a "Putin puppet" up til recently.. the powers that be are finally coming to terms with the reality of situation and allowing the media (they control) to report on it. Like I've repeated over the course of the war, without substantial NATO led forces (inside Ukraine), they're gonna lose (and that's regardless of how much money we throw at Ukraine). They desperately need NATO high-skill troops manning our more advanced weaponry. The money and weapons, without NATO troops, wouldn't be very effective, because it can take months or years to train on those weapons systems (time Ukraine doesn't have to spare).

The reality of the situation is that NATO would utterly crush Russia in a conventional war.. but then, Russia would likely resort to tactical (low-yield) nukes before they're completely driven out of Ukraine and, at that point, western leaders would throw their hands up in the air. You've got to think how this war would play out (to its end) before choosing the carrot or the stick.

Excellent espisode of The Expanse that demostrates the false logic that there can be a winner in modern warfare between nuclear powers. Even if we had some super secret anti-nuke weapons irl, it only takes one to make it through your defense grid to wipe out millions of people.
