Logitech is bringing back the MX518. Was my favorite mouse for a long time: venturebeat.com/2019/02/19/logitech-mx518-reborn/I used the MX518 for years till the cable wore out. I hoped around to different mice and settled on my Zowie FK1 which is IMO a superior mouse but the 518 is still good.

Not out yet although as much as I'd like an MX518, I'm actually thinking about getting an ambidextrous mouse next.

lol I was reading that someone got banned from FO76 for having too much ammunition after 900 hours of playtime: www.pcgamer.com/fallout-76-player-who-spent-900-hours-in-game-says-theyve-been-banned/I think it's still being investigated, but he's saying that he has nowhere near as much ammunition as they were claiming. He was using an alt character (which is allowed) to gather more ammunition and transferring it to his main character.

Whenever people talk about Anthem or the Division or Destiny my brain combines them together. I haven't played any of them but they seem so similar. Anthem looks like a big disappointment which is too bad for Bioware. Does anyone who used to work for them back in the heyday still even work there?

When the load screens take longer than actual gameplay, you know it's a crap game.
This guy dominates in Titanfall 2 for over 12 minutes and no load screen. Set the url time at 8:59, so you can see the funniest part where he rips a pilot out of his mech suit and blasts him point blank. lol

Trivia: Bioshock 2, so the voice of the Little Sister was done by the actress who played "Kid"/Five in Dark Matter. And I always laughed out loud when they had her always escaping and crawling through conduits, just like a Little Sister.

Anthem looks like a big disappointment which is too bad for Bioware. Does anyone who used to work for them back in the heyday still even work there? This guy explains why the industry pushes so hard for multi-player games and markets the idea to gamers that that's all they want. How can these industry experts think they're right, while being so wrong? At least it's not the whole industry. Sony gets that there's a market for single-player games and that's the secret to their consoles' success. They make a ton of single-player story driven games, many of which are exclusives to their consoles. Kinda reminds me of how industry pundits & investment experts were so cynical about Nintendo just a few years back. They were predicting the fall of Nintendo if the big N didn't go the way of Sega (abandon making consoles) and/or switch over to making mostly mobile games. What a joke that turned out to be.

Confession time. One thing I never did back in the day was finish Final Fantasy 7. I've finished Final Fantasy 6 multiple times but even with its reputation I have never played all the way through 7. In 2003 I made it 3-4 hours in then set it down and never went back. FF7 is such a huge influential game tho I became aware of pretty much the entire story by now through osmosis. It just so happens the modding scene has spent the last 2-3 years modding the shit out of FF7. I was totally unaware of this. The remake is still coming but I have been debating playing through it and just getting it over with so I can say I did it. It takes a bit of work so I spent some time working my way through this: forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=15520.0Its ridiculous having 10 gigs of mods for a game from 1997 lol. I got it all up and running but I don't know if I have the stamina to finish such a long game. I am already cheating and made myself invincible. I might turn off random battles as well.

I bought this game for PS1 back in the day and played it a bit, but didn't have stamina or desire to play it long even back then. For whatever reason, I couldn't get into it and dropped it after a few hours. I think I was working and taking college classes back then, so I wasn't investing much time into games. And, of, course, I didn't put enough time into it for the plot to develop and get me hooked. The music was really good tho.

My work gave me a $25 amazon gift card. I have been using the Zowie FK1 mouse since I think late 2015/early 2016. Great mouse but its kinda aged and I got the ambidextrous FK1 not the right handed EC, they also have since updated the sensor and released the EC-B series. I picked this up www.amazon.com/BenQ-EC1-B-Ergonomic-Gaming-Esports/dp/B0771WQH6XPart of me really wants to try the new MX518 but I dunno. MX518 will always be great but I really dig Zowie so far.

I am interested in this:
Someone re-made Star Wars Pod Racer (originally on N64) in the Unreal Engine, there's a download link but it's not working.

Heads up, the download link for this appears to be working. Downloading it now. drive.google.com/file/d/17VzpRsONhPKnQqYdzO28PlYpJTwBpYre/viewTested it out, it works but I couldn't figure out the controls, they might need to be customized first. Unfortunately, the maximum resolution in the options is 1920x1080 but it looks fine on my QHD monitor. Will test it out more later.

Got back into Killing Floor 2, such a good game to chill and just gun shit down. Might be the best of all time for that. How the fuck to get your uploads to come out in such good quality! Before Youtube gets a hold of it, my gameplay videos look so sharp and crisp and I try to encode it so that Youtube shouldn't have to crunch on it (make sure to enable streaming downloads in encoding settings) but my gameplay videos has been coming out blurry as fuck! No detail in the textures at all! Totally night and day from the video on my hard drive! Any tips for encoding so that Youtube monkeys with the video the least? I've tried x.264/x.265 and no difference....unless the problem is on my end to where Youtube detects my slower net connection and automatically lowers the bitrate? How does the video below look to you guys?
Anyhow, this french guy was giving me hell......he kinda cheated on the start by rolling backwards a little to get a rolling jump on the gate drop and got lucky and timed it perfect so he shot out of the gate like a canon! It then took me everything I had to try to chase him down....he was fast...heh. I think my saving grace was that I was running Eli Tomac's Monster Energy Factory Kawasaki so my bike had the best of everything and I could hit that big jump with the flat landing at the halfway point of the track 4th gear pegged without wrecking where the other guy seemed to only be able to hit it in 3rd and I was scrubbing some jumps better and getting back on the ground and accelerating quicker....can't accelerate while in the air...gotta get back on the ground as soon as possible for forward march! lol.

I used the GeForce Experience replay feature to save the last 5 minutes of gameplay or the build in autosave for games like PUBG that support it. Then I use Videopad to clip it. Videopad has a lossless export feature so you lose no quality. Then I just go to Youtube and drag the video to upload. Nothing fancy.

I use Vegas Movie Studio Platinum so I'm using a premium video editor and like I said, my videos before getting uploaded look great...very sharp and detailed. Yea I use GeForce Experience video capture too and I have it set for max bitrate I just alt+f9 to manually start and stop capturing, I don't use the auto replay feature as I don't want it encoding in the background all the time... I'm surprised on how efficient nvidia's capture is....no real noticeable induced lag, even at full maxed out bitrate at 1440p....

I think I excel in any competitive online game that I've gotten into because I've learned to be able to stay calm and relaxed 100% of the time and not buckle under pressure, even when the odds are highly against me....
I thought I had my holeshot routine perfected, half to 3/4 throttle off the start to keep wheel spin down (I know the RPM gauge looks maxed but that's RPM not throttle position, with the clutch in, it doesn't take much throttle to max the RPM) and giving it a few seconds before rolling into full throttle/power output but for some strange reason my bike grabs a bunch of traction out of nowhere and even leaning my rider fully forward my bike abruptly flips backwards.... Now with these short online races it might seem hopeless to work your way through the pack from way behind and I see people all the time have things not go their way and just pull over, stop, and give up until the next race but you just have keep calm and relaxed and be confident.... Watch how I make fast work of charging through the pack from dead last and starting a good bit behind everyone else... I don't know what was up with VanEdge because he's another top player in north America and actually in the world and we should of been tit-for-tat to the finish because we've had plenty of races where we've finished within milliseconds of each other, great battles, and he tends to better me on the posted ghost lap time leaderboards for that single one out of a hundred fast lap times but I seem to have the edge under pressure in a real time race against a group of people online. I'm just great at keeping calm and not buckling under pressure and keep moving forward and flipping a bad situation around on everyone else, hehe...
What I love about SX/MX racing over all other types of racing, especially car racing is that its so much more dynamic and separates the skill levels more dramatically kinda like Quake and Unreal do for shooter games because you have separate bike control with one stick, and rider control with a second stick, much more difficult and dynamic courses with tough to get perfect consitent laps with all the jumps, bumps, and rhythm sections... not to mention bike setup... like with EQ in a stereo a less experienced person will normally do more harm than good with EQ and it's the same with bike setup... Getting the suspension settings just right is like solving a rubicks cube... You have spring rate settings... You have compression dampening settings... You have separate extension dampening settings... gearing...etc... It takes a collaboration of a bunch of different things to excel at SX/MX racing over other forms of racing. In other words, like Quake and Unreal are the most hardcore and highest skilled shooters, SX/MX racing games are the most hardcore racing games... So much more difficult and dynamic than driving a car on flat smooth terrain....heh..

I used to play ATV Offroad Fury with friends on PS2. I remember once I somehow went through part of the map off course and ended up getting ahead, it wasn't intentional but was definitely a glitch. We actually started the race over.
