That's a commanding win. You make it look easy. Last motocross game I played for any amount of time was the good old Microsoft Motocross Madness 2, lol... I can't really get into racing games besides Mario Kart/Revolt. I played I think the original Need for Speed Most Wanted, which ever one gave you an open world and missions. Was kinda cool since I usually don't play racing games at all.

I on the other hand prefer my racing on closed off circuits. It can be a city track, but it must be made to look like a real race track, with barriers and curbs and the like, not just a public road and certainly no traffic. I've grown tired of 1. kiddy racing games and 2. open world racing. That being said: Re-Volt however, I played to death on the PC back in the day.
And to contribute to the thread: lately I've been going strong on Everybody's Golf (may be called something else in the US) on the PS Vita, getting all the crowns in the challenges (when I last played it I'd gotten maybe 10% of those) and even getting just about every trophy in the process (and buying every item in the store, lol). I don't usually hunt for trophies but if they can be gained through organic gameplay, I'm all for it. There's just 2 more to go and I'm now actively hunting for those. One requires me to max out every character, which is fine, I have no intention to stop playing the game anytime soon so I'll use every character while doing it. Last one is the platinum trophy for getting every other trophy, so that'll happen as well.
I'm guessing the hardest one would be the one for getting a hole-in-one. In all my time of playing, that has happened to me just the once, and very recently too. I've gotten from the tee straight into the hole on one other occasion, but that was after a re-tee, dunking the first ball into the water, so that doesn't count.

I swear through that game I'm the puppet master of the real Eli Tomac! Here's a clip from last nights race and he has a very similar performance to the last video I posted playing the game as him coming from behind from a mediocre start and making quick work of the pack, and even look at how many seconds everyone else finishes behind him compared to my gameplay...almost identical! Premise for a new Life is Strange game! lol
And I got VIP tickets to the very next race at Metlife Stadium so I can be in the pits from 10am to 4pm!
Excellent! I hope I can get his autograph!

I think I'm the only person on the planet to have that large oversized store display box for Motococross Madness 2! I was at Gamestop the day before I was going to a race and the guy on the cover of MCM2, Stephane Roncada, I was online teammates in the game with and I asked the manager at the store if I could buy the store display box so that I could get it autographed the next day at the race and he waved his hand at me and told me to just take it...heh. I bet its the only one still in existence today. You can kinda see it sitting on one of my arcade games behind the infamous "plant" lol...
I still have the official beta sent to me from Microsoft, no download warez, the real deal, heh...
And ATV Off Road Fury 2....used to play with my friend over at his apartment all night....his wife would go to bed after we watched some movies, and then we would race all night every weekend. I still have my memory card with our quads and settings....R.I.P. he died a couple years ago to an overdose. I remember one night he was so pissed and frustrated that he couldn't beat me that he wouldn't let me leave without playing against him "at his game". It was some popular road bike game...he literally threw my ATV2 game across the room in a rage and made me play him at his game before I could leave and I continuously smoked him at "his game" too and he really got bent out of shape! LOL. We played the hell out of ATV2 over at his apartment....heh

Fallout 76 has had LOTS of updates since it came out, also in the latest patch they introduced player vending. You can build this vending station on your property (aka CAMP) and sell whatever you want for whatever price, I sold a bunch of crafting materials and a few other things to someone earlier. In spite of the rocky launch and Bethesda shooting themselves in the foot repeatedly, I think this game still has potential to be something.
I've also noticed most players in this game are very friendly and many are selling items from their vending stations for far less than what they cost from the regular non-player vendors.
My house is also pretty amazing, I've had to work a lot with the building budget limit but I managed to build a huge 4-story house with all but 2 of the crafting stations (power armor and brewery). I built a very nice porch area with crafting stations, there are many rooms inside, even a bar area with a piano in the same room. I would upload a video of the house but I'm not done with it yet. It's also very detailed with lots of furniture and decorations inside.

Nice one, lol, I actually laughed at his commentary. He was very annoyed with the grenades. The flash he threw didn't blind me at all. I heard him coming and prefired the door so the second it opened he was down. He was completely geared with a ghille suite and everything but sadly 30 seconds later I got rushed from 2 different directions and died, doh!

Blood finally has a native windows version 22 years after release. I loved it in the 1990s especially the deathmatch.
There have been a bunch of community remakes but this is the first official port using the original source code. All of the community remakes have been approximations using the duke3d source code. They are pretty good but have their own quirks. This one actually supports multiplayer as well. Picked it up for $10.

The funniest thing happened in Fallout 76 earlier. They recently introduced player vending in the game, you can build these vending stations on your property and sell whatever you want from them, also other players can fast travel to your property when you have them active. Another player fast traveled to my house and got stuck in the floor, I had to remove foundation pieces to free him. Wish I'd had Nvidia replay running, that would've been a great video to save.

There's a button combo to start instantly recording.... its alt+something to start and stop recording. Alt+Z will pop up the record menu where you can just click the record now.

I had the in-game overlay turned on but sadly, the replay feature wasn't enabled. Also didn't occur to me to start recording prior to removing the floor pieces. Probably won't be the last time though, I'm pretty sure others have gotten stuck in floor in the same place. One could simply just fast travel out of it to get free, which I guess is what most have done. I have a bar inside my house on the first floor and for some reason, that's where people always end up when they fast travel. One thing I can say about this game is that despite there being a few bugs and crashes here and there, it runs surprisingly well for what it is (definitely could be worse). The game world always loads up too, I don't think I've seen the game world fail to load up even once.

After having totally played Everybody's Golf to the end (like literally, to the end. Maxed out everything, all trophies, every achievable thing, even buying every single item available in the store), it was time to look for something new to play on the Vita.
There was a bunch of anime RPG shit on sale but that's a thing that doesn't interest me in the slightest but then I stumbled upon:
Ridge Racer... Played it on the PSP back in the day, played it quite a bit on the PS3, so what the hell, why not. There was the vanilla edition and one with a bunch of DLC for next to nothing more (€5.24, vanilla was like €4.50 or something), so 8 more cars and 5 more tracks, good deal... I'll say: Turns out the vanilla Ridge Racer, that was once sold as a full price game, on PS Vita cartridge even, standard has 3 FUCKING TRACKS AND 5 FUCKING CARS!!!!!
What a joke! Single player literally consists of single races and time trials on those 3 tracks (and them reversed, whooptie-fucking-doo) with a choice of 5 cars that are just about identical in the way they handle. Upgrades is what you can (read: have to) grind for to unlock an upgrade tree which then automatically applies to ALL CARS. That is what we call a DEMO! If you bought this game back in the day, how pissed must you have been? To get any semblance of a game you had to invest another 50% of the asking price in DLC?
Multiplayer of course is long dead, if there even was any to begin with with specs like these and there's nothing in the way of championships or challenges, let alone unlockables (unlockable here means: pay for DLC). All you can do is grind single races for credits to slowly unveil an upgrade tree of which more than half of the steps aren't even upgrades but 'tips' or empty blocks (what the hell?). What were they thinking? At least have the option for some sort of custom championship so you can string together a few races with some kind of standings so you at least feel like you're playing for a reason.
At €5 I still feel like I overpaid. This should've been €5 when it first came out.

I haven't touched it about a year I think but I decided to play the latest Diablo 3 season. They added some QOL changes and such and 3 more torment difficulties which IMO is silly and ridiculous but there you go. Now there are a total of 20 difficulty levels.
IMO they should be simplifying things not making them more complicated. Not sure how much time I am actually going to spend playing. When seasons first launched back in the day I could play for 50+ hours each season but now I am down to less then a week usually.

I hope there's no BS regional restrictions. The Epic store has a free game this week you might like, I'm too lazy to link to it though.
Edit: I'm wrong about that, the game I'm thinking of was from either last week, or a free offer from someone else.

Frogwares, I bought their last three Sherlock Holmes games, and it's nice to see that they made the jump to Unreal Engine 4, and seem to have a bigger budget. The pacing, and the protagonist being a detective, reminds me of the Holmes games, and there's an obvious nod to the first two Bioshock games. Frogwares reveled in the bizarre elements that were sometimes part of the Holmes stories, so running with that and ratcheting it up by way of Bioshock might work really well.
I'll look for it on sale.
Edit: I looked at some screenshots from the Epic Games Launcher utility, and I agree with those who say there's a Silent Hill vibe. Maybe the Bioshock vibe is more of an intermittent nod? I was a teensy bit tempted to just take Epic's ongoing ten $ discount on all premium games, but then I saw that the DLC looks like it could have worthwhile content, and it's priced pretty high. So, back to waiting for a sale, and with the DLC included.

So I picked up Metro Exodus. Been busy with other things finally sat down to play. Stupidly I played on the super hardcore mode that removes the hud. This means I have to keep checking the controls menu to do everything since the game doesn't prompt you for shit. I can deal with that but I don't get the gameplay with air filters. You seriously have to swap air filters every 30 seconds and its kinda ridiculous. Bad enough that my character died in a cutscene because I took my time and ran out of filters, I had to reload and sprint to the next checkpoint and ignore all the dialog.
Then I get into my next fight and even tho I swapped filters my guy is making all of these gasping noises lol. I might just tone it down to the normal difficulties as it is now its more of a chore to play then anything. Sadly I think I have to start over. Not a big deal only 30 minutes into the game.

I started over at the highest difficulty that doesn't remove the HUD and its much better. Instead of having 1:30 of air in the first section I had 5:00. Its funny in Exodus you are supposed to be able to explore unlike the other Metro games which were extremely linear, kinda hard to explore when you literally run out of air and die in the middle of cutscenes.

Got a lot farther into Exodus today. I was streaming on twitch/youtube and someone was like "IS THIS THE FORTNIGHT" lol It feels a lot like Stalker but not as deep. You can explore certain areas for bonus loot and such but not nearly as much stuff as a Stalker game, it even has anomalies but no artifacts.
Pro Tip, the only healing items are the ones you craft. I didn't realize this but there are beds that let you sleep and if you press D you drink from a canteen and it heals you. I wasted mats on a bunch of healing items I could have saved.

I don't really care about racing games at all besides Mario Kart with friends. I don't remember how but I got a copy of Need for Speed Most Wanted back when I first finished college. This video came up on my recommending videos:
Its so cheesy and ridiculous but it kinda sucked me in. I actually played it every day after work till I unlocked a huge chunk of the game. Not sure why I ever got into it. Haven't touched a Need for Speed game since.

I haven't liked Need for Speed since... ...um... can't remember one I really liked. I tried to like Shift because it was track racing but it didn't work all that well with the PS3 wheel, not like Gran Turismo does, so I kinda lost interest in a hurry.

Some of their earlier games (in the 90's) were more simulation style with the physics and actually pretty good for the time. Of course, the graphics don't hold up well today. The NFS games started to suck in 2000's, when they went more arcade style and were skimming off the popularity of "Fast and the Furious" franchise by mirroring its theme.

Making it a lot further in Metro Exodus and now that I am a bit upgraded kinda wishing I would have stayed at the crazy high difficulty because it has got a lot easier. You start out with 1 gun and no gear now I am fully loaded with decked out guns and have air filters and stuff to last days. Like other single player FPS the AI is easy to deal with once you have a bit of time under your belt.
Have a few Russian people join and chat with me on twitch, whole series is really popular over there.
Apparently Exodus had a huge backlash in the Metro community from some of the fans who don't consider it a "real" Metro game due to some of its changes. I understand what they mean but I am enjoying it more then the old Metro games which I never managed to finish. It starts out like all the other Metro games but then it turns into "STALKER Lite". Not anywhere near as good gameplay as the stalker games but the story has been interesting so far. I'd recommend it.
