Yep that was his 20th....get this he is a post-Doc now and is set to do really really well $$$ wise. I dunno how you managed to get to be an admin at ED. I used to post on their forums back in like 2010 under a different name and wrote my first article for them but I never got around to trying to add it to ED as I didn't think it was good enough. I lost interest pretty quick. Trip showed me a pic of him on NASA's website a few years ago. He's an aero engineer I think. He's on my steam friends list but I haven't talked to him in a long time. Indolentron, Mellotron, Bloodycape, Lollan, and I used to fuck around in IRC or ventrillo all the time back in the day. We trolled a CSS clan into thinking we were an all girl clan once and that was funny as shit. I mean that shit went on for a couple weeks. lmao Mello's IRC was the shit! Glad Boto is doing so well. I knew that kid was smart. |

Wow, so many memories, and it's so nice to be remembered. I moved from security work into distilling, now I make gin and vodka for a living. BloodyL is indeed my brother, it was he who introduced me to SCMB many moons ago. He did security and front desk work for a while, but he's been between jobs for a few years now. Great to see so many of you kept in touch, I didn't see the end of the original boards, having left for some reason I can't even remember. Probably the kids.

Back when I first found SCMB in 2000 I was majoring in Computer Science. After 2 years of that I realized I had no desire to type code all day so I changed majors. I worked in the mental health field for 10 years but randomly applied for some IT jobs and did it part time. Then I got a full time IT job making more money then I was with my actual degree so now I am doing it full time. Full circle. Much less stress then before. |
