Neither party is good for this country. Either party, the insane money printing will continue, leading inevitable economic collapse. It would take a while longer for the collapse with 'Pubs though, since they favor cheap energy policies. Western economies were built around cheap energy. That and increasing national debt & devalued currencies due to the excessive money supply, of course there's going to be economic decline.

Supply & demand, dude. The more workers you have, the lower the wages. Women started entering the work force in the 70's. From then on, the work force doubled and wages stagnated. Also, we transitioned to a global economy - exported jobs (particularly in manufacturing and more lately, IT) and imported more & more labor/highly skilled legal immigrants. Presto, there's your answer. lol

Supporting globalism, like Democrats have done for decades, is anti-Union. When you export jobs globally, domestic Unions lose clout and lose the ability to bargain with their employers. It's common sense.

It's common sense. I like the old Democratic party (John Kennedy and even Carter). Today, imho, Tulsi Gabbard is the best possible candidate for Democrats. However, she's too anti-establishment and it appears they'll never let her win (or run for) the presidency. The DNC is too f'n corrupt to let that happen.

I lol that if Kamala Harris looks likely to be the next Democratic candidate for the Presidency there will be enough Republicans willing to troll her that they'll donate time and money to force her to debate Tulsi Gabbard as the Republican nominee.
The trick to winning for Gabbard would be to lose no Republican votes, and to grab the Democratic voters who remain anti-war and/or anti-globalism, or see Harris as significantly less competent than Gabbard.
Harris is a Christian, Gabbard is a Hindi (albeit one who strongly respects Christianity), so that could be an issue. On the other hand, Harris is all in on the right to very late term abortions, and those who might see not being a Christian as a deal breaker issue might also see that as one as well.
Anyway, those who crunch the numbers might tell their employers that the side that has Gabbard running in their primaries will be the one likely to win the Presidency, as long as Gabbard was treated with respect and at the end genuinely backed their nominee.
If Gabbard ran as a Democrat, and Harris (and/or someone worse) was a favorite, then I could see Gabbard getting tons of donations by those who wanted to see Gabbard make the debates. If Gabbard was polling above ten percent in a crowded field, or above twenty percent in a tighter field, with donations to match, then the TV networks would compel the DNC to allow Gabbard onstage if they wanted their debates broadcast.
If Gabbard's antiwar message was denounced by the other Democrats on stage as being a result of her being "a Putin puppet", well, imo that would ultimately cost the party a lot of votes, especially among Indian/Hindi voters, and the remnants of the dyed in the wool anti-war Democrats and Independents.
By 2024 Gabbard could be a bit like Ross Perot, and you frack with her at your peril.

The Washington Post, a paper of choice for the warmongers in Washington, might be signalling that it's time to get one's talking points in order.
Biden might have to break a hip while tripping over a squirrel to distract from this.
“We lost five people for every one they did,” said Ihor, a 30-year-old platoon commander who injured his back when the tank he was riding in crashed into a ditch. ... Russia’s Orlan drones exposed Ukrainian positions from more than a kilometer above their heads, they said, an altitude that meant they never heard the buzz of the aircraft tracking their movements. Russian tanks emerged from newly built cement fortifications to blast infantry with large-caliber artillery, the wounded Ukrainian soldiers said. The vehicles would then shrink back beneath the concrete shelters, shielded from mortar and rocket fire. Counter-battery radar systems automatically detected and located Ukrainians who were targeting the Russians with projectiles, unleashing a barrage of artillery fire in response. www.washingtonpost.com/world/2022/09/07/ukraine-kherson-offensive-casualties-ammunition/

Russia has too many people and resources compared to Ukraine. The west won't commit soldiers or our best weapons to the fight due to not wanting to tangle with the top nuclear power, so Ukraine doesn't stand a chance. Giving them billions (to buy our weapons) only prolonged the war, increased the number of dead significantly, and provided a major boon in profits for our military-industrial complex (which is what the war is really about, from the western establishment's pov).

Of course, all this will eventually be paid on the US taxpayer's dime. i.e. the establishment is screwing the American people financially (yet again).. as if the "Cares Act," the largest upwards transfer of wealth in the history of the world, wasn't enough to satiate their greed.

I don't have a problem with her religion. People need to get away from the team sports approach to voting and pay more attention to a candidate's stance (or record) on the issues.

Could that be a thinly veiled remark about the foreign transactions referenced on the Hunter Biden laptop? Extreme seditionist! Lock her up.

So, is our walking dead head of State going to be expected to travel to Great Britain to pay respects to their recently deceased one? Will he be expected to deliver a substantive speech, and that after publicly meeting and greeting other world leaders?
It might be Xanax time for all the staff in the West Wing, as they contemplate how that could play out.

If you're really serious about defeating Russia (and not just in it to make profit from the weapons industry), you take actions like the French are doing here (to undercut Russia's oil & gas exports).

Our entire global society is a shit-show of greed and corruption. All government systems are antiquated and don't work anymore. We need a true reset and restructure of civilization to move forward. Eating bugs, owning nothing, and turning the power off at certain times of the day isn't the answer, we're smarter creatures than that. But we can't continue to try to run modern PC hardware on Windows 98 like we are now, it just doesn't work.
