Ron Desantis wants independent research into Covid vaccine side effects. Public enemy #1. Grab your pitchforks.

Valid point. If COVID is a "Chinese Bioweapon" why wouldn't you wear a mask to try and provide a little bit of protection from it? Hospitals themselves test masks and any batches that don't meet the N95 standards are burned. Viruses pass straight through the cheap 1-layer masks you find at Walmart and the like. Doesn't take a genius to know that.

Doesn't take a genius to know that. Republicans and conservatives didn't say "Non N95 masks are tyranny" they said "All masks are tyranny". It seems to me you might want to at least try and wear one to give yourself some protection. I remember that dude in rural Texas who devoted his whole life to fighting mask mandates died of COVID, then his widow had the audacity to go on GoFundMe and beg for money. Aren't conservatives supposed to "pull themselves up by their bootstaps"? Why can't she get a job to take care of the kids he left behind instead of ebegging?

Aren't conservatives supposed to "pull themselves up by their bootstaps"? Why can't she get a job to take care of the kids he left behind instead of ebegging? Personally, I did wear masks (when going shopping, etc) during the mandate/restriction period, but they were N95 rated masks. I get your point, ForReal. The N95 standard is still a relevant tho. Mask mandates would make more sense if they required N95 masks as part of the mandate, because then the mandate would have at least been effective at preventing the spread and bring some rational justification to having the mask mandate in the first place. With the majority of ppl wearing cheap, paper-thin masks, however, I noticed it was giving ppl a false sense of security and fewer people were social distancing w/ mask requirements in place. At the end of the day, the virus burned the majority of the population (including mask wearers and vaccinated). Everybody (who survived) wound up being protected the most by acquiring natural immunity from having been exposed to the virus. Another caveat or problem would be with making school children wear masks. Those N95 masks are very tight and you're breathing in your own CO2 more than anything. Not sure it would be a great idea making school kids wear N95 masks 8 hrs/day, especially since they're still developing and their brains need oxygen. Of course, with the paper thin, 1-layers masks, that's not as much of a problem. The cheap masks don't prevent transmission. Mandating something that doesn't actually work makes it appear as though the mandate was more about control. The majority of healthcare workers will tell you that cheap masks don't prevent transmission of viruses, so if you want to argue that point you can take it up with one of them.

Japanese excess deaths linked to Covid vaccine (through dozens of autopsies).. those idiots doing research and reading. You're supposed to only listen to official western sources, like the US govt, CDC, and WHO (funded mostly by Bill Gates) that the vaccines are safe & effective. Only dummies (doctors in Germany and Japan) perform independent research related to C-19 vax. Big pharma in USA invented the thing and profited massively from it, so we should only trust their research. Exactly. That's like asking the killer to investigate a killing or the bank robber to investigate the bank robbery...sounds very trustworthy lol.

Jimmy Dore is a comedian though, so I figure he's being facetious or sarcastic in some of his comments (which can easily be taken out of context). Also, he's human, so he's going to be wrong sometimes like everybody else. It's not like the Democrat party (as a whole) is immune to conspiracy theories either. Russiagate and January 6th insurrection/so-called attempted coup are conspiracies. If it were an actual coup (on part of Trump supporters), the police wouldn't have opened the doors to the Capitol building and encouraged ppl to enter. Also, the supposed insurrectionists wouldn't have been so disorgranized. Instead, they would've brought weapons and used them to counter the police, capture hostages, and at least taken over the building. As far as Dore's conspiracy beliefs, I don't buy into the 9/11 conspiracy. The west has given groups in the Middle East (with all the wars we fought over there and innocent civilians killed) ample reason to strike back at us.

Personally I'm done getting COVID shots for a while: www.wsj.com/articles/fda-may-authorize-additional-covid-19-booster-shots-c85c0672?mod=flipboardI went with Moderna for my original series + a booster 6 months later. Then last November I got Pfizer's bivalent booster for the active COVID variants. I'm open to getting a booster this November if it's something different I think. Never got a flu shot in my life but my nurse sister practically begged me to get one last fall so I got one. No biggie.

So you won't take a vaccine that has actually been tested on humans but you do put all your trust in taking massive quantities of something they give to horses and when you die because of it your 'followers' somehow still blame the companies whose medicine he refused to take. Perfectly logical.

Perfectly logical. Just to be clear, Ivermectin has been massively prescribed to people, and over a long period of time, and is deemed to be very safe when taken as prescribed.
We also give horses apples, carrots, vitamins, minerals, and antibiotics. Presumably it's OK for humans to consume all of those, as needed.
P.S. While I took the Pfizer vaccine, I know that it was rushed into use, and had not been tested on people to the level it would have been had there not been an emergency. Which is why Big Pharma has immunity from responsibility for side effects. It was expected to be quite possible, likely even, that a lot of people would have a negative reaction to the effects of mRNA* doing its magic in the body.
Lol, it would be like if a hundred years ago you tested Heroin as a pain medication for a month, and declared, "Miracle drug, it works, and with no downside!".
*Russia used the Sputnik (a viral vector) vaccine, no mRNA (it stimulates the immune system to naturally create its own mRNA). I guess Putin hates his people, lol. Other countries used it, or another viral vector vaccine, as well.

Or in the old west when surgeries consisted of hacking off limbs.. cutting edge medicine of its day. lol Normal clinical trials take 5 years minimum. Not only did they shorten the clinical trials by years, but the covid vaccines were/are using new (mRNA) technology. coronavirus.jhu.edu/vaccines/timelineI got double vax'd w/ Moderna because my job required it. Felt like I was hit by truck (huge migraine and muscle aches) for 8-10 hours after each shot. Flu vaccine or other vaccines don't have that effect on me.

Of course, I caught Covid a 2nd time (after having been vax'd). It's like a bad flu, but I could see how it could kill the elderly or people with various underlining health conditions (potential "co-morbidities").

Its ridiculous that guy flat refuses to take any form of medicine besides Ivermectin and his followers blame "Big Pharma" for his death..............when he is specifically going against the advice of Big Pharma and that is why he died. Those people are right in that our healthcare system in the US is designed to extract as much money as possible out of people, the solution is a Single Payer system but those people don't want that because its "socialism". Instead they take unproven treatments and follow all kinds of gibberish they find online.

Putin planted bombs in apartment complexes to come to power so he is completely amoral, Russia and other countries doing the old school vaccines is because they don't have the tech to do anything cutting edge like mRNA. I specifically went with Moderna for the OG vax and Pfizer for the ba4 and ba5 vax because I wanted the mNRA vaccine since its the latest tech. I caught COVID between the OG vax the Pfizer booster. I still can't believe I went for a bike ride in 90 degree weather the day I tested negative. That wasn't smart lol.

Instead they take unproven treatments and follow all kinds of gibberish they find online. I initially thought Ivermectin was super-potent stuff like horse tranq, the way the mainstream was talking about it. In my guesstimation, sounds like the dude in question took way too much of the stuff and his liver couldn't handle it. The thing about drugs is that every human has a unique biochemistry and, for approval, drugs only need to be somewhat effective on a certain percentage of people. Some medicines could work great on the majority and have serious side effects (including death) on a relative few. What makes ppl question the vaccines was the shitton of PR & effort that has seemingly gone into stifling independent research. We're only supposed to trust what big pharma (and politicians who take lobbying money from them) have to say about it. Well, there's always hope for the future. With the help of AI and new tech, they'll be able to scan someone's genetic profile and tailor make specific drugs that work perfectly for treating an individual's particular illness. ..like the medical tricorder from Star Trek. Companies are already doing the R&D for such devices, since there's obviously huge money to made. healthcaresuccess.com/blog/healthcare-marketing/the-real-medical-tricorder-when-science-and-fiction-collide.html

Even since he changed their laws to allow more than two terms (infinite terms or for the rest of his life) and having heard about the assassinations of his political opponents, I've thought of Putin as a strongman dictator. However, I question the logic of our involvement in this war (and our general policy on war.. forever wars) because I think our country is approaching an economic tipping point (with the massive debt & spending). Also, we don't have nearly enough geopolitical interest in Ukraine to risk global thermonuclear over it. It's not our backyard. It's Russia's. We at least need a more clearly defined endgame. What a does a Russia (Putin) loss really look like? Are we truly willing to go this far - throw away everything now and for future generations? www.tweaktown.com/news/87425/new-york-city-issues-psa-for-preparing-nuclear-attack/index.html#:~:text=The%20New%20York%20City%20%28NYC%29%20Emergency%20Management%20Department,should%20be%20prepared%20in%20the%20event%20of%20one. Russia is absolutely not going to back down because controlling that territory (Ukraine and surrounding regions) is a big part of what kept the Nazis from reaching and decimating Moscow in WWII.

Comorbidities are a huge problem in the US because we're the fattest country in the world. That's why it's so important to stay fit & healthy. Something that would normally be relatively insignificant for a fit person (the flu, slight reaction to a vax, an allergy to food, etc) can potentially be deadly for an unhealthy person.

I don't care how "insensitive" people say it makes me I will always be opposed to the fat acceptance movement. There was a guy who went viral on YouTube 10+ years ago before social media was as heavily saturated for eating a ton of chicken nuggets. He was up to 600 pounds at one point. His whole YouTube channel was about him being fat. Finally he said he wanted to lose weight and get on The Biggest Loser. I added him on Facebook to watch his journey, the last thing he posted on Facebook is how he couldn't wait for Baseball season to start.............then it came out that he died. www.rortvedtfuneralservices.com/obituary/Justin-HeardDead at 28 from being fat. He ate himself to death. It used to be if you typed "Justin nuggets" into YouTube the first thing that came up was him eating nuggets but YouTube is so saturated now and with the rise of Mukbangs and such since he passed away I can't even find his original video.

Fat people consume more, not just food, but healthcare (services and prescriptions) too. The oligarchs are in cahoots with each other (from big pharma, giant food conglomerates like Conagra, to big tech & social media). Fat people typically sit in front of their tv screens and computers for longer periods of time, so that's how ppl being fat and lazy benefits big tech & social media. They want us fat and consuming, and directing most of our time & energy into their products, in order to maximize profit.
