So now my main amp has 4 tubes. Model number EL34. So any properly made EL34 tubes should work. On a tube amp you can "tube roll" and pick different manufacturers. Some people swear there are huge differences in sound, and will pay a pretty penny for specific rare tubes.
Similar to wine some people swear modern tubes just won't do, they will only use 50+ year old tubes, and they better not be made in New York, better come from Slovakia or something.
