Good point.
They're also working on a reboot of Starship Troopers, it was announced a while back but there was recent news about it. I'm not sure about the writers (as they're the same writers as the new Baywatch movie) but they're supposed to be making it more like the original 1959 book by Heinlein. The film adaptation from 1997 strayed away from the book a lot, probably a big reason is because it depicts future society as fascist. People (including Paul Verhoeven) are already calling the reboot fascist and comparing it to Trump's presidency.
