Interesting find. Never got into the TV show myself but I love the movie. Recently I finished Divinity II from Valiant Entertainment. This series has been amazing so far! I've just finished the second and just in time as Divinity III just started up. The character is like Dr. Manhattan but with a Russian background. He also crosses paths with a lot of heroes from the Valiant Universe. Here's a nice synopsis from Valiant: "At the height of the Cold War, the Soviet Union – determined to win the Space Race at any cost – green lit a dangerously advanced mission. They sent a man farther into the cosmos than anyone has gone before or since. Lost in the stars, he encountered something unknown. Something that…changed him. Long thought lost and erased from the history books, he has suddenly returned, crash-landing in the Australian Outback. The few that have been able to reach him believe him to be a deity -– one who turned the scorched desert into a lush oasis. They say he can bend matter, space, and even time to his will. Earth is about to meet a new god. And he’s a communist. How long can it be before the first confrontation between mankind and DIVINITY begins?" From Divinity:

A few weeks back I found an omnibus copy (#1-48) of 'The Walking Dead' for a tenner; lucked out today and found Vols 9-15 (which collect #49-90) for £2.99 apiece, w00t-w00t!

My girlfriend has the first two ominbus and I'm trying to make my way through the first still. Doesn't help I'm reading a shit ton of other comics too.

TWD is deffo a good read but I don't think I'll bother with the TV series. I found some sweet 'Aliens' books in another charity shop the other day, Dark Horse and Titan Books - after 'Alien 3' was released the original Dark Horse 'Book One' got republished as 'Outbreak' by Titan having been coloured and aligned with movie canon - Hicks & Newt's names are changed to Wilks & Billie. One of the books (Stronghold) features an idea that I'd never thought of before and would love to see in a movie... Synthetic Xenomorphs!

I liked the latest Doctor Solar- kind of a another Doctor Manhattan type character. Just read Divinity from seeing the post above. Valiant has been killing it lately.
