His website was helpful back in the day but some people seriously borked their computers shutting down services and in these days were everyone has plenty of RAM it is largely a waste of time shutting everything off. Besides Windows Apps I don't even waste my time

Yup, exactly. I don't even think about those types of tweaks anymore as I think they're totally irrelevant on modern PCs and I used to do those types of tweaks before the blackviper site but I do remember the site. I will disable a startup item that I notice starting up with Windows if I know its redundant and not needed but otherwise I don't dive deep into trying disable every single service anymore...
