Yeah, I thought it was great. Even got my gf to watch it and she didn't think she would like it because of the horror aspect. Now she wants to watch it again.

Stranger Things I thought was OK, even good in parts but I was disappointed it didn't really go anywhere eventually. The cast was good though, except for Winona Ryder who I've could've done without. I just don't like her voice...
Black Mirror however, I'm a huge fan of, even the weaker episodes. The great ones are amazing, I'm talking of course about the Xmas special and the 90 minutes final episode of the new 3rd season. Loved the second episode of that new season as well.

The augmented reality soldier one was the best of the 3rd season I thought

That was directed by a Belgian FYI. Just saying.

Best TV I've watched in years. Like Goonies meets Twilight Zone with a crap load of Star Wars and D&D references. I've added Lando/Landoed into personal usage as an adjective/verb. Cop is right though, Winona was weak. Its funny how the highest billed actor was the worst on the show.

Yes! I suggest this show quite often, a shame that more people haven't heard of it. Around the same time I discovered that show I also discovered "The Fades" .

That was directed by a Belgian FYI. Just saying. The Stranger Things creators (The Duffer Brothers) are from North Carolina, Durham to be exact. Probably why you think the show was just, "ok". Just saying. edit: Also, I'm curious what you meant by "It didn't go anywhere".

Can't remember specifics but it felt a bit like they did in Lost. They brought up a lot of mystery but in the end very little of anything got resolved. Dunno, maybe they were already holding out for a follow-up season and I was expecting a more rounded off and completed series with an actual ending, like other stuff I'd been watching around that time and really loved, like Fargo or True Detective (S1 at least) or Jessica Jones...
I'll rewatch it when the next season is about to come out.

The intro song reminds me of the music from Mass Effect.

I'll rewatch it when the next season is about to come out. I figured that's what'd you say and I understand. I feel like shows from America are more about leaving things open ended to lead into the next season. It can be quite annoying sometimes and I enjoy watching shows from outside the US, that more often than not, wrap up a lot of the plot points from the season and still have room to open things up for another season. The latest thing that's been really annoying to me on that front are the new concept of mid-season breaks. I believe it started out with Mad Men and then The Walking Dead as well as Preacher (damn you AMC) now do it and with the new season of Game of Thrones, they will also fall prey to this stupid schedule.

Agents of SHIELD season 4 has been awful in that regard. It seems they take some sort of break every few episodes nowadays and makes me really regret not waiting for full seasons to be over like I used to do. I started watching single episodes because the Walking Dead had become so fucking boring I really couldn't see myself binging that anymore and then stuff like Preacher and Ash vs the Evil Dead happened and I wasn't able to wait for the end of the season once I watched the first episodes of those, lol. I binged Better Call Saul season 1 right before season 2 was about to start, so of course, now I couldn't wait for any season to be finished anymore before starting to watch it...
But I really wished I'd done that for Agents of SHIELD season 4 because look at this mess of a schedule:
20 Sep. 2016 27 Sep. 2016 ------------1 week 11 Oct. 2016 18 Oct. 2016 25 Oct. 2016 1 Nov. 2016 ------------3 weeks 29 Nov. 2016 6 Dec. 2016 ------------4 weeks 10 Jan. 2017 17 Jan. 2017 24 Jan. 2017 31 Jan. 2017 7 Feb. 2017 14 Feb. 2017 21 Feb. 2017 ------------5 weeks 4 Apr. 2017 rest seems to be in order...
