The only difference are the mounted guns, but I guess they'll be coming next week...
...oh and the fact their Toyota Hiluxes probably won't break down as easily as that American junk...
Bringing a gun to a political rally (at least, if anybody of any political significance was showing up) would be suicide. Death by cop, basically.
I live in the "redneck" state of Tennessee. It appears that TN law doesn't allow open carry of any type of rifles.. handguns only with a permit. So I shouldn't have to worry too much about coming across fringe, militant groups (like proud boys or BLM) proudly toting AR15's.
Open Carry and Concealed Carry Provisions
Tennessee issues permits for the concealed or open carry of handguns, but not loaded long guns. However, an individual is free to carry a loaded handgun or long gun in their car without a permit as part of the expanded "castle doctrine" self-defense law.
When do we commence Civil War 2.0? lol If you believe the internet & media, it looks like ppl all over the place are getting geared up and ready for it.
Are things really so bad for gays that they have to pretend to participate in the militant behaviors that we've seen with the rioting? It's not uncommon for gays and lesbians to do PDA's (public displays of affection), including in bible-thumper states I've lived in (Texas, Tennessee, Ohio). I've seen it numerous times and, from what all I've seen, literally nobody cares.
"Out in the park" (gay pride) day at Six Flags (Texas), circa 2015.

That picture is actually from Poland and they are protesting about abortion rights. As to the LGBT community not really interested in having a big argument about it in the Pic thread but while it has got better for them its still quite common for kids to be thrown out of their house/cut off by their parents and friends if they come out. LGBT make up 2-10% of the population depending on where you get your data but make up 40% of homeless youth.

I wasn't aware that the rainbow flag represented abortion rights.
Parents are legally responsible for their kids (straight, gay, asexual, or otherwise) up through the age of 18.
The smart thing to do (for kids living with tradcon, conservative parents) would be don't come out until after they're ready to move out. Of course, lots of kids are into drugs & alcohol, burning brain cells, and acting as dumb as ever.
