I saw the original TRON when I was extremely young, I remember zero about it. No big surprise since I think I was like 3-4.

The sequel did a neat thing in 3D in that it only became 3D once you got to the grid. Everything in the real world is still 2D, making the contrast between the 2 even bigger.

lol I'll never forget when Eddie Murphy was joking about that time when Kirk went to that planet and f***ed the green b*tch.

0:37 in almost killed me the first time I saw it, couldn't breathe from laughter.

I know Murphy and Richard Pryor were pals, so I'm sure Pryor was OK with Murphy recycling his routine about white people and possessed houses. Oh wait, was Pryor already passed on by this time? P.S. In a sense Christopher Pike did get it on with an Orion dancer before Kirk, as his fellow inhabitant of "The Cage" was inhabiting that projection, and after Pike returns to that planet in "The Menagerie", he goes on to live with her. Presumably they have lots of wonderful role playing, lol. Medical science still stinks in the 23rd century! You'd think repairing broken limbs and burns would be simple by then. Though with Pike they used techno-babble about his burns being the equivalent of a magical curse. But the girl who was from the expedition just had regular disfiguring injuries. Managed care endures it seems. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Cage_(Star_Trek:_The_Original_Series)#Plot
