torrentfreak.com/iconic-torrent-site-rarbg-shuts-down-all-content-releases-stop-230531/Like many iconic torrent sites RARBG was based in Europe. It appears they have people fighting for Ukraine and Russia. I imagine that made for some tense meetings. lol. I was shocked when KickassTorrents went down and RARBG going down is shocking as well. I remember when suprnova went down 18 years ago people said it was "the beginning of the end for torrents". The scene will go on but a source for quality files is gone for good.

This frees up about 2 hours a day for me because I have been browsing every new page on that site daily for the past 5 years at least. I'm going to miss so many weird and wonderful discoveries, pr0n too, a lot which I end up buying on bluray anyway (not the pr0n). I'm looking at alternatives but nothing is as clean or easy to navigate or just has quality versions.
Guess they discovered I bought a new computer and have to split my time between gaming and movies from now on...

There's all kinds of sites out there where you can watch anything streaming for free, only thing is the websites tend to have spyware/malware/clickjacking and other stuff so it's a good idea to use a browser script blocker before going on them, probably also a good idea to have Malwarebytes Browser Guard and Privacy Badger. I think I remember one called "123movies" or something and I think Putlocker (or some form of it) is still around too. There were a few movies I wanted to watch recently that don't seem to be anywhere to stream or even buy, but I was able to find them on one of those sites.
*edit* Well it turns out Putlocker is still around. I heard it had been shut down.
I kinda like those streaming sites better anyway, nothing to download. Only thing is, the quality ranges from bad to good and could be in a different language.

Who knows if it is the original Putlocker, so many clones of clones of clones of sites. It won't be a week before someone creates one of Rarbg, and fills it with spam/malware. That was what was so good about Rarbg, only quality releases and only trustworthy uploads. Guess this is an end of an era for me. I'll have to be on the lookout for more specific stuff and follow-up on other stuff closer instead of just running into it naturally because I'd browse everything new on a daily basis.

Putlocker(dot)sb seems to be the legit one, not sure if I'd trust any others.
*edit* well maybe not "legit" one, but it does seem to work although it does have overlays on stuff that redirects somewhere else. I'm pretty sure the original putlocker is long-gone.
