Saw this ruling today: www.cnn.com/2023/03/29/tech/judge-google-deleted-chat-logs-antitrust-case/index.htmlReminded me of this: www.computerworld.com/article/3389882/former-mozilla-exec-alleges-google-torpedoed-firefox-with-oops-excuses.htmlSomeone who worked at Firefox noticed that they pushed a new version of Firefox and all the sudden it took 5 seconds to load YouTube on Firefox but it was nearly instant on Chrome. For some reason YouTube started requiring some obscure depreciated version of a resource that Chrome instantly supported, but it would take the Firefox team till their next update......which was about two months away to fix it....very convenient this "bug" reared its head like the day after Firefox pushed a new version, when the people at Google know it will take Firefox time to push any kind of fix. That was only one incident of many. Google swore up and down it was just some weird mistake due to them making a bad decision at YouTube. Basically they said the Chrome team and the YouTube team, both owned by Google collaborated to make sure YouTube ran like shit on Firefox. I've been uploading YouTube videos since 2016 and I remember one day back then all the sudden you straight up couldn't upload videos using Firefox, you had no choice but to use Chrome. That "bug" was eventually fixed but come on. It wasn't an accident.
