All I see are people linking to news sites and raging about it but not a link to the "apology" itself. Ragebait.

Found the official statement I think:
*edit* Well I guess it's not really an apology, more of a statement.

The people who wrote Joe's speech make up their own reality. I've never heard of a 200 round magazine before this speech. Also, AR doesn't stand for assault rifle, it's derived from Armalite, the company that designed them. An assault weapon or weapon of war is full auto, these type of weapons typically aren't available or legal to purchase for the general public.

The argument that "we've got F-15's, so you can't stop us if we go tyrannical" would be nonsense anyway if millions of Americans rise up against the would-be tyranny. You're not gonna send out F-15's to kill off millions of widely dispersed ground targets. In war, F-15's would be reserved for taking out large structures, artillary, or missile launchers. More likely, for their civilian targets on the ground, they'd use drones and ground forces for that.

With our crumbling infrastructure, F-15's with guided missiles would be overkill as far as taking out our roads & bridges in order to limit movement. Just equip drones with small explosives to save themselves mllions/billions. lol

I'm using the same mouse he is at the end. When I bought the mouse it "only" supported 2,000hz, a firemware upgrade enabled 4,000hz. I've been playing at 4k since then. Can't say I see a big difference but 4k vs 1k feels tighter when moving in a circle very quickly which he didn't test. Probably not worth buying a new mouse

lol when he brought up the beer and I saw it was Germany, I knew they were gonna put ice in it. I remember reading somewhere that in Germany, putting ice in a beer is considered offensive.

The Italian PM is a right-winger, so that's surprisingly gracious of her to lead Biden back to the group (of G7 leaders).

Who puts ice in their beer tho, even here in the US? lol.. they don't serve it that way at bars or restaurants (none that I've been to). But i could see the argument that there's less of a need to chill German beer, since the general consenus is that it's better than most beer from other countries.

^Was thinking the same, I think even here it's frowned upon to put ice in a glass of beer. But in Germany, they make it sound like it's something they'd hang someone on a public square for.

Asians think it's bad form to put ice in any drink (including water or tea).. a cultural thing I guess? Supposedly, cold drinks (especially after a fatty meal) are bad for heart health. Some ppl think the cold accelerates clogging (plaque build-up) in your heart and arteries. I'm not sure if there's any medical research to back that up, but it sounds like something that could be true, since you can observe that fat (from red meats) solidfy at room temperature.

Florida residents should not be allowed to vote in Federal elections Every state and part of the world has idiots. Isn't it true that half the population has a below average IQ? IQ tests (vs disciminating on zip code or state) would be more equitable and that method would have the added benefit of not having to expel Florida (the 4th largest economy in the US) from our Republic.

With a permanent felony now staining her record, the good news is, she'll never be legal to purchase a firearm for the remainder of her life.
But sadly, yes, she'll always be allowed to vote.
