I would show kids videos like this to teach them that even if the pinnacle of your life is working at Micky D's, playing video games, and jerking off to pr0n.... that's a million times better than being in the mess that people like this chose to get themselves into.
I couldn't imagine being locked up for life. No....No.... you can be a semi-fuck up, but just not on this level. I would have to imagine that being locked up in prison for life would be worse than the death sentence. Living everyday of your life knowing that you'll never get to do anything but be locked in a cell - I dunno if I could handle that. I think it's beyond sad that people so young can throw their entire lives away.

Living a pointless life, never being able to do what you want to do, just endless living.

Going by two films that come immediately to mind, David Lynch wholeheartedly agrees with you.

The ending of that movie is exactly what I meant by my comment. Let's just say it had somewhat of an impact...

I feel bad that someone so young threw their entire life away before it could even really start. He could of lived a perfectly fine life as a loner with a mediocre job. As he ages and matures he will probably hate himself and regret what he did more and more. Life in prison is definitely a worse punishment than the death sentence because you are locked away in purgatory forever with no hope of freedom until you are no longer conscious. The weight of that is extremely heavy.
