Daily Stormer doesn't show in any of the four pages of Google search results, using the exact search you specified. So now you're just lying your ass off? I didn't say it would, also you realize that Google customizes itself for the user. Your Google search and mine aren't the same. Last time I checked Duck Duck Go doesn't do that

In any case, if they conform to search patterns and I search for only right-wing (like you believe), one would think they'd give me more moderate or right-wing sources. That didn't happen.
But like I said, I avoid Google. So even assuming they conform to search patterns (which i highly doubt - they notoriously bias to the left as well), they wouldn't have much to go on and they'd give default searches.

Back to topic.. regardless, if Musk is allowing hate speech on X, that shit would be reported, firing up multiple lawsuits. If it continued too long, he'd be facing legal penalties for sure.

My place of work pushes the Chrome browser and, by extension, the google search engine too though.

They probably dumbed down their search engine to make their AI products more appealing (since one of the primary uses of AI is a glorifed search engine). I don't like it, because sometimes you want to look through multiple sources of information (like a library). Versus AI, where you're basically spoon-fed one formulated response, unless you modify your AI prompt in very specific ways and try multiple different prompts until you find what you're looking for.

Good for Ukraine. I hope the fight keeps going their way. Also, I suppose this is some proof that American made military weapons are very effective in combat. The primary issue when the US fights wars is the "win hearts & minds" strategy (under the directive of politicians) vs actually fighting to just win.. not the fault of our soldiers in uniform at all, because they are basically stuck under failed leadership who are clueless about how wars are won.

I guess you could argue that the hearts & minds strat does get more people on your side.. the people didn't want our military leaving, if you can believe it. But like they say, seeing is believing.
But at the end of the day, despite being our lowest KIAs war (yet, also our longest war), Afghanistan was still an L. It was an L because we employed hearts & minds philosophy, rather than hunting down the enemy and destroying them.

The US lost hundreds of soldiers in Afghanistan (over 20 years). www.statista.com/statistics/262894/western-coalition-soldiers-killed-in-afghanistan/In the Ukraine war, each side has lost hundreds of thousands soldiers and this war only started about two years ago. Imagine that, a war fought in the old style, where both sides are actually fighting like their lives depended on it. Evidently, Ukraine's goal is to inflict maximum damage and casualties on the enemy. I suspect they're making a hard push (counter-invading Russia) lately due to the US elections coming up. The possibility of a Trump election victory means Ukraine needs major military victories, else they risk Trump & Republicans pulling US funding. It'll be much harder for Republicans to say no if it looks like Ukraine's winning because, if they pull funding while they're winning, that'll be the ultimate cause of their defeat. i.e. Republicans would have the courtesy of taking the blame for Ukraine's defeat.

One movie you should check out, if you haven't seen it, is "Charlie Wilson's War." www.rottentomatoes.com/m/charlie_wilsons_war It's about a US proxy war in Afghanistan (to counter a USSR invasion/war). It's an unofficial and lesser known war the US helped fight, because we channeled Middle-East made weapons into Afghanistan, so that the Afghans could repel the invasion and the Soviets couldn't trace the weapons back to us (or draw us into deeper conflicts with them).

Seen it. Tom Hanks was solid as always. "The people in my district are easy to please, guns and low taxes".

I thought I already posted this in here, maybe a previous page. Anyway there was a stabbing in the UK where 3 young girls got stabbed to death by some violent lunatic. At first people were spreading misinfo that he was a Muslim immigrant already on a terror watch list, people attacked a mosque. His parents are immigrants but he was born in the UK, you can hear his accent. He sounds as British as they come: web.archive.org/web/20240803050005/https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2024/08/02/southport-murder-suspect-bbc-children-in-need/I mean unless people want to make the claim that because he is black he isn't really from the UK, in that case I guess they should have every black person who won an Olympic metal for them return it.

I don't prescribe to the general idea that migrants are any more dangerous than the rest of us. If they're releasing them from prisons and sending them our way, like Trump preaches, then ok maybe. But otherwise, nope. Differences in violence & crime are mostly due to cultural and socioeconomic differences. And yes, cultural, because culture can influence government (as is the case with Theocracy based govt's in the Middle East - they chop off hands for theft or even capital punishment for having affairs or simply being LGBT person).

"You cannot invade mainland United States. There would be a rifle behind each blade of grass." While the quote is said to be bogus, it's tough to argue against its merit. What happened after Russia invaded Ukraine? They immediately began drafting hundreds of thousands civilians (w/ zero combat experience) into the military and gave them all guns.

Oh yeah I forgot to say, his family is Christian NOT Muslim.......so does this stabbing show Christian migrants are inherently violent and dangerous? They going to throw rocks at a church? I bet not. It's sad in the video he seems like a normal 11 year old into Doctor Who. They say lately he refused to leave his room or speak to his family. Severe mental illness can first start to really exhibit itself late teens/early 20s. The whole thing is about mental health not migration. Ironically the same people into "Mass Deportation" are also into cutting mental health funding to the absolute bare minimum. When I worked in mental health in Alaska, a traditional red state back then, we literally had an Alaska Mental Health Trust building..........it was 90% empty. In the 1990s after the Republicans took Congress for the first time in 40 years and "small government" was all the rage they just mass fired everyone who worked in the building. Was sad to see in person.

The main (real) issue with open borders and allowing the poorer immigrants to flood across is not the fault of the immigrants. It's the $35 trillion in debt and the US won't be able to afford to cover more welfare recipients for much longer before going broke as a nation. I don't blame the immigrants either. Another problem (for the immigrants themselves) is cost of living and housing here.. It's outrageous with the ultra high housing/rent costs and limited availability (despite having ridiculous amounts of land we could develop housing on, if the powers that be allowed it). I think they're being sold a bad bill of goods - its misinformation letting them think they're gonna be able to afford a place to live here. It's especially worrying about their outcomes after the election (after they serve their true purpose - i.e. boost the blue vote), and the govt stops paying for their hotels, food, and whatnot. Edit: Americans/citizens look to shittier, disaster prone areas in quest for affordable housing. People (citizens and non-citizens alike) need to face the reality that the "American dream" is dead. Come here and you might get ensnared in the debt trap and unable to leave. In other words, there are better places to live (lower cost of living and more upwards mobility) in the world than the US. www.msn.com/en-us/money/realestate/americans-are-so-desperate-for-cheaper-houses-that-they-re-willing-to-live-in-flood-and-wildfire-zones/ar-AA1oXoBw?ocid=winp1taskbar&cvid=0c1e7e173ca34680a8b80a05d386843c&ei=42

Won't that affect sea life? The first solution, where they're dumping those red chemicals in the water, most definitely. They have local conservationists near where they're testing in an uproar and fighting against it. The new "breakthrough" (2nd link) doesn't add harmful chemicals to the water, but it does form hydrate salts that deposit on the sea floor and remain stable there (in the form of solids) indefinitely. so maybe it could affect life on the sea floor? I do recall that the most abundant multicellular life (in mass) on the planet are nematodes (worms that live on the bottom of the ocean).

I did read something recently about the Atlantic Ocean has entered a new cycle of rapid cooling, and the Pacific showing signs of following suit. It's scary because Scientists don't know why. If it means we're at the precipice of the next ice age, that's one of the worst things imaginable, because it basically means food production in the northern hemisphere gets halted and billions of ppl die. People would be praying for global warming to return. Not the same article I read initially, because it's missing the bit about the Pacific Ocean likely to follow w/ cooling also.. www.msn.com/en-us/weather/topstories/scientists-say-the-atlantic-ocean-is-cooling-down-and-they-don-t-know-why/ar-AA1pcmvK?ocid=BingNewsSerp

Won't that affect sea life? The photo just reminded me of a bible scripture. The similarities (blood red color and the fact they know these chems are dangerous to life) is kinda eerie. I'm not saying I believe it's actual prophecy coming true. But I do believe if humans go extinct, it's most likely going to be due to something (a technology) of our own creation.. be that bioengineering new viruses, nanobots that consume everything, or whatever it might be.

I remember hearing that they used something in the gulf of Mexico after that really bad BP oil spill, just caused the oil to break up and disperse into the water. That can't be good either, makes me kinda question eating seafood.

It's so much worse than that. Nasty chemicals - from plastics, the drugs that people piss out, paints and other chemical consumer products that ppl pour down their drains are in the water supply and just about everywhere else (anything that requires water to process, like food). These things are known to be in the water supply and the EPA doesn't test for them or regulate them. They only test for certain things like lead. Even then, the public water fails the lead test in some parts of the country, like Flint Michigan.
Unless you grow your own food and had the soil tested (because chems in the soil get absorbed by plants), question everything you eat.

Reminds me of this small town where my family lived until I was 10 or so, it was a big time oil town and I always noticed that the tap water around a certain part of town always had what could be described as a "petroleum" smell. People in town also seemed to get cancer a lot, including a few family members of mine.
Something else that comes to mind, tires. Think about all the tires on the millions of cars driving around out there, the tires wear down, where do all those particles of rubber go? I looked that up and what I found also scared the crap out of me. Long story short, tire particles are also in our food and water, and probably even air too - supposedly it even interferes with cloud formation. Was reading that EV's go through tires much faster than gasoline cars, due to greatly increased weight and acceleration.
