Fired up the UT Alpha for the first time in 3+ years and....wow it's draining and tiring playing such a fast paced and intense game. I had to shut it down after a few rounds because it just mentally drained and tired me out. How did I used to play these games for hours on end? Sheesh, I just can't do it anymore. Back in UT2004 I made it in the top five worldwide deathmatch stats...I just can't play these games anymore. It was kinda fun and even funny at times when you piss someone off with your play style but three rounds max and I've had it lol.

I have over 1,200 hours in PUBG if you add in the test server but in late 2021 the only people still playing are the hardcore addicts who have been playing it for 5 years now. Always a Twitch streamer in your match so you will get fucking wrecked if you don't bring your A game right away. Not like it was in 2017-2018 when millions of people with all different skill levels were playing.

I used to love going to our (monthly? weekly?) LAN-parties and play Counterstrike (mostly) with my friends but once that died down and everything moved to online play, I quickly grew tired of it. Especially when the only map that was being played was de_dust. Seriously, ALL THE FUCKING TIME! De_dust over and over and over and over...
Never bothered with any other games online after that. I only like multiplayer when the people you're playing with are there with you. Maybe that's better now there's voice chat, but I still wouldn't want to talk or listen to strangers... ...and I've run out of friends to play with.
