I don't know what the hell has happened to me lately but I don't enjoy doing any of the things that I used to love to do anymore...
Watched one movie all year (and it took more than one sitting to finish it.)
Rode my jetski and ATV about 4 times all year and was bored while doing it...
Video games literally disgust and bore me...
Haven't listened to my stereo in...years it seems like.
Haven't been to an amusement park or concert in two years...the beach even longer.
Don't have any drive to associate with anyone anymore...rarely talk to anyone other than the guys at work which are all drug addicts who I wouldn't want to associate with outside of work anyway...
Is there any point in living when you basically don't enjoy living anymore....? Holy moly what the hell is up with me anymore..? How do I snap out of it and get back into my normal groove lol... It used to be as simple as, give me a dirt bike and a trail and I was happy but I don't enjoying anything anymore...lol.

A lot of people feel that way with all the insanity from COVID and the 2020 election. In my early 20s I pretty much lost interest in games and such, going to the gym 5 days a week was one of the best decisions I ever made. I had got pretty much no physical exercise of any kind for a long time. It really helped.
Also it is socially acceptable to drink alcohol all the time but alcoholism is a real thing and leads to depression and anxiety almost 100% of the time. If you drink alcohol might want to quit and see how you feel.

Drinking alcohol is boring too. Fortunately, I'm not wired to be addicted or predisposed to it, unlike some of my relatives.
I'm probably addicted to coffee, but I have to stop drinking it by noon or it interferes with my sleep.
He's right about exercise or playing sports, along with a good diet. It brings your energy levels up, depression & anxiety down, and you feel like doing more in life.

Low T (testosterone) is another possible, if not likely, cause. It's an unspoken modern epidemic of its own in western countries. Men's issues being ignored is par for the course in western societies.
Two of my brothers and a brother-in-law were all tested and have to get T injections. I recommend going to the doctor and getting your T levels checked. I still need to do that too.

There are downsides to working out, injuries and such. The benefits greatly outweigh the negatives tho.

At the community college (in the 90's), I took a weight training class during the summer, where they taught safety & prepping for a workout. I worked out several hours a day for 4-5 days per week, and went from benching 70lbs at the start to over 200lbs in six weeks. I was in my early 20's then. I kind of doubt if such fast gains would be possible at our age. Back then the class probably would've been much cheaper than hiring a personal trainer. With the drastic rise in tuition rates, I don't know if that holds true anymore.

Intermittent fast sprinting would help too. It's developing the fast-twitch muscles and creating body tone/definition that help w/ T levels. He'd get very sore if he's not used to working out. It's ideal to ramp the work-out routine slowly so you don't get burnt out & quit, and to reduce risk of injury.

It's the chemicals in plastics (that you take in from drinking bottled water, etc.) and hormones in meats (growth hormone & 'roids, that they pump into chicken & beef) that we eat which cause low T, among other things. It seems like the powers that be don't want the poor to be healthy. I suspect that's why organic foods (non tampered with and less steps in the mfg process) are so expensive. It's a price barrier for the lower classes, which harms their health and keeps them pretty much subjugated (less likely to climb the socioeconomic ranks and become a threat/competition).

I've had lots of times in my life with bouts of depression and/or losing interest in stuff, but I always get over it and start becoming interested in things again.

It is possible to lose interest in things. I played Counter-Strike and ran my own CS clan from 1999-2007. I completely burned out and didn't even really play CSGO till like 2019. I was just kinda over it.
Also when I was a kid in the early 1990s I saw my first anime proper Nausica of the Valley of the Wind which is considered a classic these days. I thought it was cool like the cartoons I liked but better. Saw a lot of the big anime from the 1990s, Akira, Ghost in the Shell.
In my early 20s my interest waned. I had a friend who would smoke weed and watch anime every single Friday night without fail. I found that really boring not my idea of a fun Friday night. I stopped even thinking about anime. Like 5 years back or whatever a bunch of people were raving about Attack on Titan so I downloaded the first season. Made it like 2 episodes in and deleted the rest because I found it so boring.
Anime hasn't been a part of my life in like 20 years now, you can't force yourself to like something you lost interest in and thats cool.

Something really strange, I'm finding myself craving meat a lot less as I am getting into shape. I still eat meat, just 1-2 times a week or sometimes not at all. I'm becoming borderline vegetarian.

I don't know what the hell has happened to me lately but I don't enjoy doing any of the things that I used to love to do anymore... I suggest getting a Corvette and a young squeeze on the side... ...after a while you'll re-appreciate the things you already loved.

I actually finally found a "holy grail" sleep med. I stopped taking Benadryl for sleep because the side effects of that crap are awful and it didn't really work. Also a 10 year long study showed that people who take Benadryl for long periods had a much higher chance of dementia. There are other sleep meds but they are addictive and have terrible withdrawals so I won't touch them. Anyway my doctor gave me Clonidine: medlineplus.gov/druginfo/meds/a682243.htmlIt is a blood pressure med so talk to your doctor if you have blood pressure/heart issues, it works as an anti-adrenal so it knocks you right out. I wish I had Clonidine when I was going through horrible insomina in my early 20s. The only downside to Clonidine is in high doses if you suddenly stop taking it can cause heart issues, I take the smallest dose possible and only when I absolutely can't sleep. It simply knocks me out and I wake up feeling 100% normal with no godawful Benadryl hangover and its 100% not addictive.

I found the holy grail to sleeping too.... a good hard day at work and getting rid of as much stress in life as possible. I've also been feeling a lot better since the pandemic has scaled down to about nothing and I've been going ATV riding and exploring new riding areas nearly every weekend. Kinda got rained out this weekend tho... Got some things to look forward to this year like the big sold out Taylor Swift Eras Tour...row 5 on the floor right in front of the stage.... Might do Metallica later in the summer/fall as well and I might put $5k down on my favorite pinball game (also going to Pinfest in a few weeks that will have about 250 pinball games on freeplay for $15 to enter). Things have been more on the up and up lately.

Hope you're holding up. How are you now?
I went through some bullshit myself. Morning sunlight, yoga Nidra, strength training (bodyweight/kettlebells), and cleaning up my diet helped tremendously.
