Let us know how it compares to the PS4 version. Sinead O'Conner already made a song about it!
I might have time to fire it up tonight, 4k HDR on my 75" now with real hardware and REAL 4k not upscaled/checkerboard! The PS4 Pro suffered so bad from slowdowns and low framerates, can't wait to try it with a RTX 2080Ti OC although the Steam reviews paint a grim picture for its current stability and performance (bad port) but I'm going to be loading it on one of the fastest NVMe drives with arguably the fastest GPU on the earth planet ...lol.

I got stacks on deck for the new high end GPU...lol. Anyway, Horizon other than an initial crash when I first started it that seemed to pertain to my virus scanning software allowing an exception, it's running perfect without a hitch. It's actually weird playing without control input lag...it's like you lose the sense of weighted inertia when moving around...lol. But you can aim so much better and precisely when the action gets going unlike the PS4 in which it felt like the frame rates dropped into the teens. On the PC its hoovering around 100fps maxed out with even AA enabled, no slow downs. I'm very surprised how good it's playing because the reviews are bad for its stability. Funny how I gave up quick on the new Jedi and I'm not the type of person to replay a game or rewatch a movie because I think it's a waste of time when you can be using that time for a brand new experience but Horizon has so much better gameplay than Jedi. Jedi you just reflect taser bolts with a light saber, hate the one weapon gameplay, but Horizon you have a plethora of different weapons, traps, strategy's for taking enemies out etc. at your disposal. Really enjoying my second play through of Horizon on the PC! Very happy to see Sony starting to unload their console exclusives on the PC! Good times to be a PC gamer!

Mole was talking about the Jedi game in another thread and, based on his review, I commented that it doesn't interest me. It sounds like a 3D platformer with some non-interactive story cut-scenes. imo, if a game's going to have shallow gameplay (like a platformer or FPS), it needs to have something else going for it... superb gameplay (like older Nintendo retro titles - SMW, Super Metroid, etc), highly immersive atmosphere, and/or interesting RPG mechanics. btw, Nintendo is porting a bunch of classic Mario games to the Switch soon, including Super Mario 64 (in the bundle "Super Mario 3D All-Stars"). Which has me wondering if they're going to release an N64 mini console this year or next. I'm interested in checking it out, because I skipped out on the N64 console back in its day. www.gamespot.com/articles/original-super-mario-all-stars-is-now-live-on-nint/1100-6481773/

Imagine if Nintendo came out with their own online digital store for PC with all their games how much money they would make? I don't think it would even interrupt their console sales at all because the Nintendo console buyer probably isn't worried about have a custom gaming rig.
