That was interesting! I have been using Sam’s meditation app since it came out. Haven’t done psychedelics though. I don't know much about meditation, other than a few snippets from biographies on religious/spiritual leaders I read some while ago. Youtube recommended the above video probably because I've watched Quantum Physics videos where actual Physicists have performed experiments (such as the "Delayed Choice Quantum Eraser") that hint the nature of reality (such as time) might not be what we think it is. Not judging anyone or speaking about the "let's legalize drugs" debate, but I don't recommend messing with drugs. I've seen drugs ruin many lives, including relatives and people I know. Consider the professional/doctors' analogy of "playing with fire." Possibly, a better "hack", that religious/spiritual leaders have done historically, is fasting while meditating. Obviously, that could be damaging to a person's health too, especially for ppl with existing health problems or if it's done for more than a few days at a time. |

No, in all honesty, basically just familiar names - like the 3dfxgamers forum was the very first forum that I ever joined online so I stick around because in the online world, I've know some of you guys the longest.

The first big forum I ever joined I left because it took a hard turn away from computers and video games into extreme right wing conspiratard politics. Like they thought X-Files was real and controlled by the Democrats. It fragmented and last I checked was a dead community and the last remnants of the forum went offline in 2016. I also was a member of the Stileproject forum which was notable for its ceaseless bleak negativity but was very funny. Was eventually given away to another member and eventually pulled offline. I found out later a few members of that forum ended up committing suicide. To this day the only forum I have ever been on where being nice to people was frowned on. lol. |
