Star Wars games bundle for cheap. www.fanatical.com/en/bundle/star-wars-unleashed-bundleI've never played SW: Force Unleashed, as it has lackluster reviews. However, the other games in the bundle are fair to good, even though they're quite old with dated graphics. Back in the day, I remember playing "STAR WARS Jedi Knight - Jedi Academy" on my brother's Xbox 1 (the original Xbox not to be confused with current gen Xbox One) and had fun with it.

I got that bundle a year or two back and I was impressed. The only downside is that it ruins you for games with sloppy AI, and awkward controls. I think I'll be replaying them in the not too distant future.

Speaking of Steam, I salute you Enhanced Steam, and I mourn your loss of functionality. "The Enhanced Steam API servers will be discontinued on January 31st, 2019. Shortly before that happens, the server-side code (minus sensitive information such as API keys) will be released as open-source on Github. At that time, the Patreon campaign that supports Enhanced Steam will be taken down. Also shortly before the January 31st deadline, a “stripped down” version of the client that performs only local (non-server) functions will be pushed out to Google Chrome and Firefox users that have installed the extension from those official repositories so that they can continue to function without getting server-related errors. Unfortunately this means they will also loose a substantial amount of functionality. Over the next six months, I will be reaching out to our 3rd party data providers to help ease this transition. This will allow everyone to continue to enjoy Enhanced Steam through the end of this year’s Winter Sale and will also mark six years that the project has been active." www.enhancedsteam.com/blog/

I've never played SW: Force Unleashed, as it has lackluster reviews. The first one is pretty decent. It has good cinematics and a better story than the Last Jedi ( gratuitous attack). It's a typical 3rd person action game but with a jedi. Unlike in the first person games, the lightsaber and force powers don't get in the way. It's great fun just grabbing stormtroopers and flinging them high in the sky, or: grabbing them, electrocuting while holding them and then flinging them towards their stormtroopr buddies as an electrical grenade for maximum damage. Forcegrabbing Jawas and then spinning them around is the funniest.

A couple of user reviews on Steam complain about "SW: Force Unleashed" being capped at 30 fps (and they say all the console versions of it are better - Wii, PS3, Xbox360). I hate the 30 fps cap on PC games. It's poor design and there's no excuse for it, other than the dev assuming that PC gamers are too dumb to configure their own games & graphics drivers. Edit: For PS3, there's only the physical version and no digital (says so on the Playstation Store). On Amazon, it's about $30 for a used copy and $75 for a new copy. That's too damn high for such an old PS3 game. www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B01DLODV8E/ref=olp_f_new?ie=UTF8&f_new=trueMight eventually check out Dolphin (N64 & Wii emulator) and that version of Force Unleashed. Edit 2: Looks like Wii never got the "Ultimate Sith Edition", which I'm guessing has DLC. So I'm thinking that the Wii only has an incomplete version of the game.

I think I'll be replaying them in the not too distant future. I remember FEAR had some pretty fun multiplayer, not sure if it's still active or not. There was this gun that would shoot metal spikes that you could pin people to walls and ceilings with. One time in multiplayer, I shot someone through a window with it from down below, it pinned them to the ceiling by their head.

When I was like 13 I played the shit out of KOF 94. The building it was in has since been torn down as it had asbestos and was not up to modern building standards so it was cheaper to tear it down then rebuild it.

I fairly recently replayed the 3rd game (a few times actually). I really liked it, especially since you can re-start the game with the other character and get a very different playing experience. The older ones are very repetitive, especially the first and possibly may look extremely dated.

I never played the 2nd or 3rd game or any of the DLC. I really liked the first one. I am going to have to play the 3rd one at some point but so many games and so little time.

SimCity 4 Deluxe Edition - $1.99 for the next 42 hours.www.fanatical.com/en/game/sim-city-4-deluxe-editionnm, like Zombie pointed out, the Steam version they're selling supports MacOS only. It used to support WinXP, but one review says Windows support was broken with a DLC. gog.com has a working version for Win7/8/10.

I think that's the Mac version only, but still a great deal.

I think that's the Mac version only, but still a great deal. They're selling Steam keys for the game. The Steam version of Sim City 4 supports both Windows and Mac. store.steampowered.com/app/24780/SimCity_4_Deluxe_Edition/Edit: I think this recent Steam review (Feb. 6) might reveal why fanatical.com isn't advertising Windows compatibility. Also, on Steam, windows compatibility lists Windows XP. So you're right afterall. I guess that's why I own it on gog.com and not on Steam. Evidently, GOG patched it to work with Win10. www.gog.com/game/simcity_4_deluxe_edition
