You might decide to revise your lists because it's still 2018, with some new movies coming to theaters later this month. Critics praising (so far, unanimously) the new Transformers movie. Hits theaters on the 21st. www.rottentomatoes.com/m/bumblebee

The Incredibles 2 made well over a billion dollars. www.yahoo.com/news/numbers-20-highest-grossing-movies-120000382.htmlJurassic World and Black Panther made even more (each film by itself), two on Cop's Worst of 2018 list. lol "Solo: A Star Wars Story" is in the top 20 and made over $392 million. Yet, it's considered a box office failure by the studio and the two sequels (previously a planned trilogy) were cancelled.

Jurassic World and Black Panther made even more (each film by itself), two on Cop's Worst of 2018 list. lol What does that prove? A lot of people watch Adam Sandler's movies as well. I don't even think JP and BP were that awful but they were compared to the good Jurassic movies and the entire Marvel cinematic universe.

I just think it's funny that a movie like Solo does relatively poorly, compared to lesser movies. My individual preferences differ from mainstream audience on many movies also. The Transformers movies (except the 1st one and probably the new "Bumblebee" movie) and the Fast & Furious franchise are mostly bad, imo. But these franchises are worth billions. I thought Black Panther was entertaining. Certainly, it was tainted by exaggerated/artificial-looking CGI and to some extent political correctness. {BP spoiler} To paraphrase the antagonist, "I'd rather not live in bondage, so go ahead and off me"... That's more or less what he said towards the end of the movie. lol

Concerning Solo's box office, it DID make some money but the budget was estimated to be around $300 million. In order to actually be profitable it needed to have made at least $500 million at the box office, which it could have easily done but everyone had such a bad taste leftover from TLJ and no one went to see it. That's Disney's fault, if only they could have released Solo before TLJ, everything would've been fine. Even with TLJ being a steaming pile of SJW propaganda.
I didn't even see $300 million worth of a movie with Solo, it must have been all the reshoots that drove up the budget.

All movies I seen in 2018 are forgettable for me so far. I am soooooo tired of super hero movies as much as I am of first person shooter games! I am looking forward to seeing A Star is Born which looks really good going by the trailer.

I didn't even see $300 million worth of a movie with Solo, it must have been all the reshoots that drove up the budget. That's a good point. It's plausible too, even with all biases swept aside, given that Rogue One set the precedent for how well a stand-alone Star Wars movie can perform at the box office. The Solo movie could've ridden the same wave (TFA and Rogue One) of success, if it hadn't been released after TLJ. I get what you're saying about TLJ being a SJW-fest. It's not just diversity (which is ok i think, if not overdone). But its story/screenplay blatantly conveys the slant that only women can be both intelligent & noble, and that they are the only ones suited for (good moral) leadership. Some of the male characters can be noble or intelligent (albeit, rarely), and never both at the same time. The message is that men and women are not equals. Rather, women are superior! Based on this movie, one could postulate that director Rian Johnson is a pu$$ie-whipped white knight. lol www.marketwatch.com/story/movie-watch-disney-is-up-against-great-expectations-as-rogue-one-hits-theaters-2016-12-15www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/rogue-one-star-wars-box-office-155-million-collateral-beauty-la-la-land-957284

I am looking forward to seeing A Star is Born which looks really good going by the trailer. I'm not crazy about first-person shooters, rarely play them, and i suck at them (except for the games that have a decent story and RPG elements, like "Deus Ex"). I'm a decent shot with a real rifle though. Obviously, it's a very different experience firing guns in games vs. guns in real life. But perhaps VR can improve the genre (first person shooters) greatly, make it seem more like firing real weapons, and turn it into one that's fun for ppl (who weren't previously fans of the genre). Unreal tournament was fun for a few hours, then it sinks in how little depth the game has and becomes boring. In its day, it looked really great and ran smoothly on whatever potato PC I had, so I can see why it was popular.

All movies I seen in 2018 are forgettable for me so far. From that statement I can deduce you have not yet seen Mandy, Hereditairy or Annihilation. I mean, you may not like them, but there's one thing they are not, and that's forgettable...
