I guess if you never got it, now is the time. It's not the Redux version though, which can be had cheaply.

I had both 2033 and Last Light since a long time ago and got the Redux versions of both for free when they came out. They are great games, I just wish they worked better over Steam Link streaming. There's a drifting issue with my Xbox One controller over Steam Link, last I looked there was no known fix. *edit* Appears there is a fix maybe: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=925539727 |

The Metro games have been on sale (for cheap) so many times on Steam and they have good ratings, so I already bought 'em a while ago.

You know what could be, I was looking at that same page on the Steam client, and since I already own both games the "add to cart" button is greyed out. Probably still is available then.

Played the first of those, wasn't particulary impressed with the gameplay. Maybe I should give it another shot.

I think the Metro games were worked on by people who were originally working on STALKER but had creative differences.
The graphics in those games are pretty amazing, I remember having framerate issues with pretty good hardware back when it first came out. I like the atmosphere of the game and the story is good. Last Light has even better variety in the environments. Also the weapons are pretty cool, there's this air powered rifle (Tihar) that shoots ball bearings and does a lot of damage. Also because it's a silent weapon, it's good for being stealthy.
The Redux versions have a higher difficulty level (Ranger Mode) that disables the HUD, makes it very immersive and more challenging since you can't see your health or how much ammo you have.
