Sennheiser all day. When I got my Game Zero headset I stopped using my 5.1 speaker kit.

I used to have some very good studio quality headphones but one day they just disappeared, never got around to buying another pair.
My speakers have been working fine for over a week now though, I think it might've just been interference from something. Still, I'll look into some good headphones or a headset.
*edit* I looked up the best headphones for gaming and music, Sennheiser ranks among the very top.

I keep logging into Battlenet to see if the pre-install is ready. So far it just keeps talking me it's due out on the 24th and nothing else. Come on, hurry up!

Game? Beautiful. Gorgeous. Optimization is amazing. The ol' GTX560Ti is completely playable although there are some dropped frames during heavy effects. Q9550 doesn't even break a sweat.
Interface? Ugh. They have some serious work to do on fireteam management. Everything about handling fireteams is a chore. To send an invite is two menu layers deep. To accept an invite is practically hidden in a separate tab (3 layers deep) with no indication that's where your invites are. To leave a fireteam is in an entirely different menu altogether. It's just silly.
Voice chat seems a hot mess. A friend of mine who has zero issue on team speak is muted out so bad I can barely hear him. He can hear me fine at full volume. A third friend cant hear me but can hear my friend at full volume but the third friend cant talk to anyone. Just plain broken. Tomorrow we are going to try just using a chat channel in the blizzard app.

People are getting banned for running overlays like in Discord, MSI Afterburner, etc.

Lol. They were talking upfront about the game being incompatible with overlays but they never mentioned bans. Sounds like their anticheat system could use a tune up.

Tested the Blizzard voice chat system last night and had far better results. Not only is the sound clearer but the volume problems can be alleviated through robust volume control. Why Bungie didn't utilize the Blizzard app for group and chat functions is beyond me. They use MS for this on xbox after all. *shrug*

Spent a decent amount of time with it this weekend. I made it through planet Nessus, but I was really impressed by the previous planet Titan. The rolling waves shooting electricity, and the boats floating on top of the waves were pretty damn cool. It's such a beautiful game and I'm really enjoying the experience.

Having a blast too. I haven't seen you yet.... I really wish Bungie had incorporated the Blizzard app social functions, have I said that yet?
But yeah. I finished the campaign. Got some loots. I have two friends playing and we're going to start the big boy stuff soon. Crucible here we come.
