You know the answer is likely a yes or you wouldn't be asking such a rhetorical question.  imo, it never pays to get over-hyped about anything as trivial as a movie (or game, sporting event, etc.)... because the hype just sets you up for a massive let-down. Ironically, David (the android character in Prometheus & Covenant) would take it much further and say that it never pays to get over-hyped about anything involving people, because he considers people/humans to be a huge disappointment.  |
