At the top of these forums says Please consider supporting this website by disabling your ad-blocker. This website does not use audio ads, popups, or other annoyances. Thank you! But I don't disable my ad-blocker so i get this  Figure I'd press that button and got this  No I will not turn it off and I will not pay for this site |

I've noticed more and more sites are becoming anti-ad-block, trying to guilt you into turning it off.
Recently I read Youtube is dropping Flash completely in favour of HTML5 because 1. flash is being discontinued but 2. it's apparently harder to block ads in HTML5. Oh well, someone will find a way around it eventually.
But yeah, hard to go back to ad-ridden pages when you're used to not having any. I notice it when I use the tablet from time to time. No thanks, I'll stick to my PC. Adblock + noscript gets rid of a lot...

Enough ads sneak through ad block that I have no guilt whatsoever. Really though it's the fact that the only thing they do anymore is dredge through my cookies and see what they can try and sell me, which I consider an invasion of privacy. Yep. No guilt, they can go screw themselves.

Yeah I just ignore the sites that say take ad block off but here i get the pop up at least once every time i come here.
I did start using palemoon recently and has adblock latitude which I guess doesn't work as good as AB+ and FireFox

Palemoon is shit. Its one dude running a shitty outdated version of Firefox last time I checked. I run Nightly 64-bit which is up to version 57 now and Chrome for everything else.
Also I don't mind the ads on this site. They are paying for it afterall so I don't have too

Any time I go to a site that tells me to turn off my adblocker, I just open it in Firefox with NoScript and it doesn't bother me with those popups.

Firefox is the best but i use an earlier ver. trying palemoon and like it.Just need a differnt AB which there are others.
Nightly is just beata shit that they can't get right thus the high ver numbers LOL and chrome LMAO it died awhile ago
