Actually not much older than Sean Connery.
Can't say I've seen many of those old Bond films, but may he RIP.

That's SIR Roger Moore, plebs!
Sad to see him go, kinda overshadowed by terrorist fuckwittery in the news... I'm currently reading his book 'Bond on Bond', some great stories in there (seems he and Grace Jones didn't get on at all, she's "She Who Will Not Be Named"!) he has/had a wonderful sense of humour, often very self-deprecating.
Although some weren't great films I highly recommend checking out his Bond DVD commentaries - "Hello, Roger Moore here. This isn't so much a commentary on the making of the film, as it happened so long ago I really don't remember much about it at all..." - what follows is 2hrs of him telling lovely stories and making fairly amusing observations.
Other non-Bond films worth checking:
