"..the dignity that he felt that people in government should have."
Key words bolded.
By Ronald's own words, he actually didn't think that they had dignity in his day.
So if he were still around, from his pov, not much has changed (in the world of politics).

Tucker's show on Fox (before he got fired) had the #1 ratings out of any show on any news network. I'm not saying this to support Tucker. Just saying, what you find boring, is still watched by and influences millions of people. That is, it's not inconsequential because politicians sometimes do support their constituents, which could translate to an impact on funding Ukraine's military efforts.

Been like 10 years since I heard his name and he used to rule the same timeslot as Tucker

Putin seemed nervous, tapping his feet around. He gave a bullshit (propogandish sounding) battlefield example of Ukrainian soldiers being encircled by Russians who gave them an offer to surrender and Ukrainians shouted "Russians never surrender!" - Putin then explaining that the Ukrainians were referring to themselves as Russians (with the presupposition being that Russians and Ukrainians are the same people and fighting a Civil War of sorts). Tucker ended it by sucking Putin's ass (figuratively, of course).

Thank you Houthis (and the Blowfish) for being so goddam random in your attacks, thereby fucking with China's economy and forcing them to take our side.

yeah, my youngest bro did Meth and Opioids. His appearance didn't change that much (besides getting sores sometimes, probably infections from reusing needles too much), but his mental health did. In his last 2-3 years of his life, he thought the government was targeting him with direct energy weapons (focused microwave beams, specifically) - blaming this for the sores, as well as causing him to hear voices and take over his thoughts (so he said, paraphrasing). Using hard drugs after so many years can eventually turn you into a lunatic.

Im at the gym listening to videos while I work out and this R-Tard mentions Agenda 21 & "15 minute cities".
When I first moved across the country I thought my commute was fine........ Then I started getting off work at 4:00 pm and not getting home till 6:15 some days. It was a fucking nightmare and seriously ruined my quality of life.
Now I live a 14 minute walk from work, on days where I am not work from home. 5 minute walk from the grocery store, 5 minute walk from the dentist. Nearest mechanic is less then a 5 minute walk. I drop off my SUV and walk to pick it up. It's heaven.
I had no idea there was a term for it "15 minute cities". Apparently the person that came up with the term started getting death threats because every redneck and hillbilly in the country hopped up on Alex Jones think "they" are coming to take their trailer away.
Like dude........he's trying to help you. You are just too far gone to realize it.

This is why I'm my college party days I never did meth, also my Psychology background made me realize paranoia was just paranoia if I felt it coming on.

Probably because they hear the same people telling them you will own nothing and you will be happy and everyone needs to start eating bugs to save the planet. Of course people are going to start getting paranoid when you have very influential billionaires having meetings together every year saying in the future you will own nothing and will be happy, d'oh. Like Bill Gates speech, depopulation through successful vaccinations...again...does that sound good or nefarious? Hey by 2030 we're going to cut everyone's dick off and you're going to love it....it's for humanity....hrrrmmm....wonder if that's going to provoke happy or unhappy thoughts...hrrrmmm....I wonder....it's a scooby-doo mystery....lol.

When is the last time you bought a DVD? That is what that widely misquoted quote about "owning nothing and being happy" is about. I don't own any physical media anymore. I sold my DVD collection around 2014. Some of those disks are 20+ years old now so I doubt they would even play in 10 more years. It just blows my mind that someone says "having a long commute sucks, cities and towns should be walkable" and people have such Stockholm syndrome their first reaction is to send that person death threats. Also nobody wants to cut peoples dick off but I see the right wing obsession with making hating trans people is still the number 1 priority even tho trans people are less then one percent of the population. How you make the leap from less then one percent of the population to cutting everyone's dick off I don't know. Also I see billionaires mentioned over and over again but then when the left says "ok so billionaires are bad let's reform society so they have less power" the right says oh no we can't do that, that's socialism. Notice when Bill Gates switched from cutthroat business man to making his full time job helping people the right turned on him. Can't use your money to help people oh no, it must only be used for giant boats and mansions they don't even live in. Steve Jobs didn't donate anything to charity hence the right never turned on him.

You're not on Epstein's flight logs, are you? Yea you are you little naughty-poopy. You've been dipping your fingers into the forbidden honey on Little Saint James island...lol. It's cool, I'm not judging. Your crowd just likes them young. It is what it is.
Oh I did buy two CDs last year if that counts for anything, but they ain't taking my SUV and ATV lol. Instead of just making 15 minute cities, can they also make 15 minute countrysides too? I drive a four hour round trip to my favorite ATV riding spot lol.... It will only take 7000 acres and beyond to replicate lol.

The place where the most kids are molested is church. It's a meme that youth pastors run off with members of their youth groups, go ahead and Google it: letmegooglethat.com/?q=youth+pastor+arrestedAlso the Christian rights obsession with "purity" and "innocence"..... What is it you think they are talking about? Anyone who values their kids safety would never let them set foot in a church.

I doubt Ped0s have a particular political leaning. They'll go anywhere they can find an abundance of vulnerable victims - churches, public schools, Hollywood, etc. The two latter ones being more left-leaning, so that alone blows the theory that ped0s are right-leaning out of the water.

Jobs mostly stuck to what he was good at - business and marketing. He'd drop some comments about improving the education system, but nothing like Gates.
Gates invested heavily in Pharmaceuticals/vaccine stocks and synthetic meat stocks, while simultaneously promoting them to the public to boost the values of his shares. He's also been buying up crazy amounts of acreage of farmland & pastures (coincidentally, restricting competition to his synthetic meats investments). If he were in it just for charity purposes and climate change reduction to benefit the public good, why so heavily invested into those stocks?

Also, China's been competing with Gates to see who can buy up the most US farmland. By allowing this, the US is further positioning itself for future food shortages.
Potato Joe talks about food shortages out loud, like he did about ending the Nordstream pipeline (before it happened).

Ronald Reagan would be driven out of the GOP today for not being enough of a radical nutcase. Also the anti-government crowd loves that quote, but the government put a man on the moon, the government is what made something like D-Day possible, the government is the reason we are having this conversation, the private sector would never come up with something like the internet, ever. Also the same people who say "Government is not the solution to our problems, government is the problem" almost always put the police and military on this massive pedestal and think criticizing either is a form of treason. The police and military are the two branches of the government likely to be used in any kind of tyranny. You would think the "small government" people would want both limited or watched in some way but naw.

I never thought the anti-vax nonsense would become mainstream but the Republican party never ceases to fall to new lows. This weekend I was going to make a post saying that the next insanity the GOP is going to embrace is the Sovereign Citizen movement. They already embrace every other form of insanity, why not this one. Those "Best SovCit in court fails" videos on YouTube could just become Republican talking points. Figured that might seem extreme, then I check the news this morning and I see this: www.cnn.com/2024/02/19/us/utahs-sovereignty-act-overrule-federal/index.htmlBasically they took a law from Alberta Canada and tried to apply it to the US. Alberta is kinda like the "deep south" of Canada. QAnon signs were rampant there a few years ago. Just wait, a couple more years it will become more mainstream.

Hawaii kicked things off by its judges declaring they could overrule the 2nd Amendment. IIRC anyway, it's all political posturing from both parties and I don't have the inclination to follow the stories. The politicians are feeding the media click bait stories, and the media returns the favor by energizing the base and the donors.
P.S. Long time Firefox user on Android but dang if Samsung's browser on my Samsung devices isn't a bit more smooth and polished. IIRC it's built on a similar framework, so it's not jarring to switch to it.
For the desktop I still love all the add-ons of Firefox, and its performance is excellent. On Android there's a pita issue with Firefox dumping from ram minimized tabs, so writing in fields while switching around grabbing quotes and links can sometimes result in the loss of what had been typed in. I checked up on the issue yesterday and in an official Firefox forum it seems to be acknowledged as an issue. Android's ram management being the factor that needs to be come to grips with.

The place where the most kids are molested is church. I think it's at home. I might agree but just this morning after I made that post I was reading reddit and this woman who left her church said she felt terrible for an old Doctor friend from the same church who was forced to give up his position teaching kids bible stories............turns out he was just sentenced for having over 200 victims.
