Right, we need this because having Leana Headey, Summer Glau, Shirley Manson, and Stephanie Jacobsen*, in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, somehow didn't quite have enough kick-ass women in it, so a blow for feminism must be struck. lol
That piece of the Terminator franchise was even named after a woman ffs. The kick ass Terminator was a woman, ffs. The show was loaded with scenes of women kicking ass. But it never felt a need to kick men to the curb. It had the right mix, and it's missed. Part of its demise is due to the Christian Bale starring Terminator moving becoming imminent, and the canons just didn't line up. And I guess they wanted people jonesing for their Terminator fix when it hit the theaters.
*Leven Rambin as Riley Dawson gets honorable mention due to her amazeball chops in her battle to the death with Stephanie Jacobsen.

I've actually been watching Terminator TSCC on Crackle lately. I watched it back when it was on TV from beginning to end, I rather liked it.
I don't think there's any way that the new Terminator (Dark Fate) will be as bad as Genisys though. I remember it started off okay, but then there comes a point where it seems like they just gave up on the writing.

It's not like the Terminator franchise isn't already in the toilet at this point. Someone should go back in time and stop anything Terminator from being made after the second... ...if that means killing Arnie, so be it. Kill him after he's done with True Lies, we won't miss any classic Arnie movies that way.

Maybe the recent trend of turning guy movie franchises into all-women flicks and attacking & shaming men in the media has something to do with Hollywood trying to atone for its sins (like the Catholic Church, they say Hollywood had/has a problem with systemic sexual misconduct). However, since they don't have God/religion to ask for forgiveness, they turn to the alter of progressive liberalism. lol Albeit, not just plain old fashioned progressive liberalism, but harder-left version of liberalism. Because if it's just old fashioned fighting for equality (which would be fine, if they stopped there), then why all the hate towards men? Why go there and become the very thing (hate-filled, sexist bigotry) you're supposedly going up against? The masculinizing of women (the guy in the video more or less made this point, by noting how butched-up most of the ladies are in these films) isn't going to emasculate men (by comparison), thanks to genetics and hundreds of thousands of years of evolution. Also, most men are hardwired by genetics/evolution to be attracted to beautiful women (since men are hard-wired to pass on their genes and beauty is probably que/signal as to a woman's degree of fertility) and women are hardwired to be attracted to men with the most power, resources, and social influence (i.e. alpha males - who can best protect them and their children). Because of these hard-wired traits of human nature, the over-masculinizing of women in movies is unsurprisingly going to be a tough sell to male audiences (there goes half your audience right off the bat, Hollywood).

This is the thing incels need to understand. They go on and on about how women are shallow bitches because they like tall buff dudes but preferring tall dudes with some muscle is just a result of evolution making women seek out mates who appear healthy/strong. Not shallow at all it makes perfect sense.

Either they set their standards too high and only seek women out of their league. Or it could be severe depression, anxiety, varying degrees of autism or other mental conditions...

Or they're just disgusting slobs that never leave the house, but when they do they're wearing a shirt with stains on them... Not too many women out there on the hunt for those...

One of those dudes on reddit said the last time he went on a tinder date his hands started shaking and he was sweating profusely. That indicates extreme social anxiety which is a treatable condition. You have to have a huge blind spot in your worldview to somehow blame that on women everywhere.

It only dawned on me yesterday, but I remembered that Terminator: TSCC also had an important guest character who was a transgendered woman. It was that episode where Sarah ran into the people having a UFO believers convention, "Earthlings Welcome Here.". And it got rightly praising for handling that character well. www.glaad.org/2008/12/16/terminator
They did everything so well that they made it look easy. Nowadays, so much social commentary looks forced.
Bring that show back, and forget the movies.
The early seasons of Fringe, and many episodes of the last few seasons, were Ace, and another example of SF done right, and with a strong woman lead, and without having having to bash men.

How about one of my favorite movies of the year: Annihilation. All women cast, yet nothing was ever said about this, it just was. It didn't draw attention to itself for this fact (like that annoying Ghostbusters reboot), and it was a fantastic movie (unlike that annoying Ghostbusters reboot... ...or maybe it is, I never saw it, nor will I ever... ...Plinkett reviewed it, looks like I would hate that movie so much.)

Yep, Annihilation was highly unusual, yet suspenseful and entertaining scifi. Lady Ghostbusters is as bad as they say. Regrettably, I went to see that one at the theater with my brother and his family. All-female Ghostbusters is one of the all-time worst movies.

So I've been watching Sony Crackle lately and I keep seeing this commercial:
I'd like to know who had the bright idea of using that particular song (Dion - Runaround Sue), did they not realize that the lyrics are about an unfaithful woman who sleeps around with all the guys in town?

All kinda pop songs have fucked up lyrics I don't think anyone notices, this is great material for conspiracy theorists to go on and on about how we are being brainwashed and conditioned. I remember when I was still in high school this song came out and the lyrics are about a 12 year old hooker which is all kinds of fucked up but it was repeatedly played in school at various events:

No wrong way to interpret this title though.

Also reminds me of when they performed "One Toke Over The Line" on the Lawrence Welk Show:
