I think you could argue that the kid was safer with this gorilla than his own parents. Gorillas keep a much closer eye on their young and don't let them fall into pits/enclosures or into the custody of strangers.

Was watching this show on Netflix called "Nothing To See Here" (also known as "Ojitos de Huevo") and this song played at the end of the 2nd or 3rd episode:
Thought it was super catchy and I like it a lot, the lyrics are in Spanish.

Speaking of which... I was watching this Adult Swim animated show called 'Royal Crackers' and in the latest episode there was a haunting rendition of Barbie Girl playing, which I had to Shazam and to my surprise I found out it was actually done by this Belgian all girls choir I was already aware of called Scala. Interesting to know they made it to the US...

I remember seeing that trailer in the theater back in the day, the whole theater got whisper quiet: Also I remember talking about that movie on old-SCMB and I think it was Opus512 was like "I'm not going to watch that shitty movie, Facebook sucks and so does Mark Zuckerberg!" and I was like the movie is NOT pro-Facebook, its about Facebook and done by David Fincher so its pretty much guaranteed to be good unless David is having a bad day, but he wouldn't be swayed, the movie was about Facebook so it had to be trash. Great movie with a great soundtrack.........even if some of the details are heavily fictionalized.

I wanted to see the Facebook movie, but never got around to it.

Finally SNL did something that made me laugh:
*edit* Also wow, YT is recommending more songs from that band (Los Flakos) and I like em. Kinda remind me of Radiohead and bands like that.

Man what a nightmare, and Roman has money and wealthy fans all over the world willing to help.
He considered the US but our godawful health care system scared him away

He considered the US but our godawful health care system scared him away Europe is good in the short-term, but.. Europe and Japan have insanely high debt levels like the US and, therefore, just as vulnerable to collapse. You just don't hear about it as much because they don't talk about their national problems quite as openly as Americans. If I were him, I'd be looking at South America or Asia. Historically, South America is mostly safe from World Wars, so I'd likely choose some country there. Colombia perhaps.

Of course, my pessimism is based on what we know now and the future is unpredictable. The AI revolution (with AGI) could turn our economy around or, if we can beat China in the upcoming space race, we could mine the asteroid belt for trillions in precious metals. Fusion energy would be nice as well, but it probably wouldn't take long for China to steal the technology and construct better reactors than us, because that's their MO.

Don't know what's more impressive: the racing or the drone camera work...

Would the drone have been able to keep up if the track were dry?
