This song has been stuck in my head over the past couple of days. Join me!! Lol, the mummies! I went and saw them here last year. Missed them this year though. One of the best live shows I've ever seen. I forgot his name, but the guy talking at the beginning isn't in the band anymore and it's a shame because he was my favorite. I mean their lineup changes constantly, but he no longer plays with them. Nice!! I would love to see them live. My girlfriend got me into them a while back. She's seen them at DragonCon quite a few times. It'll be my first time going to DragonCon this year and I really hope these guys show up and play a show. |

I find the band pretty interesting if you know their backstory. Basically the reason they all dress up as mummies is because they all play in other national acts and aren't allowed to use their likeness in other bands. They get around it by dressing up and hiding who they are. A couple of them may be full time mummies iirc, the dude with dreads on the sax is killer and I think I've seen him in everything they've recorded. Their lineup changes pretty often as some members drop out to play with their other band and others come in when they finish with their tours.

^lol those "sovereign citizens" idiots always crack me up. There is a right to travel in a vehicle with no drivers license, you just cannot be the one driving the vehicle, but somehow these idiots think they can make up their own rules like they live in a different country.
