Episode 4 of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier just came out today, I'll be playing that tomorrow. It was released just shy of under a month since the last episode which I found surprising. Normally it's been 2-3 months between episodes of this game, hopefully the final episode will release next month too.
So far it's just as good as the previous installments have always been.

Picked up Badland in the PSN Easter sale. Cross-buy for both the Vita and the PS3 (and the PS4 for that matter). Fun little puzzle game, which is really neat on the PS3 because of the local co-op. The kids and I sat in front of the screen for hours last weekend guiding our respective flapping birds through the beautifully rendered levels...

The Necromancer has been fun in Diablo 3. Some people have been begging for a power level in /general but srsly? Its a beta test. You are supposed to test things.
I was worried from the get go it would be terribly OP but I felt extremely weak. Then I got level 9 and got my skeletons and started having better skill synergy then it started to come together.
The skeletons work a lot different then Diablo 2 but it still has the same vibe. Corpse Explosion is really strong again.

So I bought PU Battlegrounds today. First game I spent too long in houses and shit, finished 38/94 with no kills. Second match I finished 13/96 with 3 kills. Takes some getting used to, the meta will get interesting. My second time I died outside the circle that closed in. I had enough hp to survive but I was chipped off from a distance so when I did make cover I couldn't heal. Those firefights can get really interesting. My first kill was a guy I heard before I saw. Looked out the window and there he was. I waited for him to come in and I shot him twice with a shotgun. He never saw me. Second guy I lit him up and he ran to heal but he didn't see where I was so I flanked him and popped him. The third kill really could have gone either way. Fun game, experienced minimal lag and no bugs in the first two games. Now just have to learn where everyone is getting their shit!

Update for Battlegrounds now that I've got a few rounds under my belt. Haven't won one yet, all the solo matches I've played so far have had at least 90 players. My best finish so far is #6 and I got 3 kills.
Some rounds I've lived only a minute or two into the round, those are always so full of action though, it's so intense. Some of my best finishes were because I killed early and looted well. They have a duos and squad mode where you can play 2 or 4 players together. Could be fun.
edit: instead of a new post every time
4/29: best finish yet, #4/96. I had a really good start, when I jumped out of the plane I dived far away from its path. Had a huge area to loot all to myself. Didn't see many people and the boundary changes all converged near where I started so there was minimal running around. Only had 1 kill but I had found an 8x scope and silencer for the AK, which is not a sniper rifle so you have to lead a lot. Hard to hit a moving target at 200m. Got picked off by a guy I hit twice. Never found any body armor but I had a lvl 3 helmet which deflects pretty much 1 headshot from the highest power guns. Placed in top 10 a few times times. Game is super addicting to me. You get killed and just want to jump right back in. Just placed #5 without ever hitting anyone else with a single shot. Turns out you really just need to avoid getting shot.
5/6: Played a match-making squad match and all 3 of my team mates dropped out before the game even started. I decided fuck it, let's do this. Manage to loot a few buildings in privacy and stock up a little. Tried to keep ahead of the circle as much as possible. Before I know it there are only like 20 people left alive. I find a couple more unlooted buildings and generally just stay away from wherever I hear gun fire and let everyone else take each other out. I took out one guy from a long distance because I saw he was down. They never saw where it came from. Before I know it there are only 10 people left. I had started been belly-crawling through an open field while getting lucky with the circles. I'm now prone in a field between a rock and a house. There are people at the rock and in the house firing at each other... right in front and over top of me. Nobody knows I'm there. 4 left, 3 left, 2 left. Not including me there is only one dude left alive. He starts running towards me but doesn't see me. I let loose with my tommy gun and fuck his day up. I then win the match. It was glorious. I should start recording these games. haha

I finally decided to try World of Warships. I used to play the shit out of World of Tanks back in like 2012. Was never as elite as Kermit who had multiple Tier X but I got half way through Tier VIII
Its a solid game but simplified compared to WOT. Understandable since WOT could be really confusing for noobs, it took me a few weeks to feel like I knew WTF was going on.
I start playing World of Warships and win like 10 matches in a row, feeling like a badass, then its like "Would you like to try a random battle against real players?"
LOL was playing against bots.

I play WoT still every few months. Usually I'll get an email about a 5x experience weekend and I'll be like fuck it, let's level some tanks. I first played back in 2012 or so also. Never really stuck with one skill tree too long though so my highest tier tanks are like VII.

I did Tier 5 - Tier 8 in a week or so(been a long time not sure) Tier 8 to Tier 9 is a really slooooooooooooooooooooooooow grind tho. The IS tank I have in that tier is fully upgraded and all but I just can't sit down and grind it all out.

Still playing the shit out of PUBG. Here is photo evidence of my solo-squad win with the Tommy gun that I mentioned above. The second photo is my first real solo win which I just won... like right now. Awesome match. Included defending a house from a couple intruders (a house in which I was the intruder until I killed some dude and claimed it as mine!), shooting at guys trying to get phat lewts from a supply drop that landed just outside my house, and crawling through a wheat field to the final circle with 2 other dudes that had the same idea. When it was the 3 of us we all started chucking nades where we thought others were and somehow nobody died from that. I heard some land so close to me too. Eventually I saw where both of them were and crawled pretty close to one dude, had to leave the safety of prone to crouch and shoot over a 2 foot hill at one guy. He died quickly and I prone back down while the other guy shoots at me from prone, big mistake as I now know exactly where he is. I crawl over to a bush and crouch behind it so he can't see me and I unload into him. It was glorious!

I wanna try PUBG but I am afraid it will be yet another game I play hardcore for a week and then never pick back up I played some World of Tanks the last couple days. It has changed a ton and man am I terribad compared how I used to be. Yeah, I know that feel. I'm really enjoying it though. First game in a long while that has made me think about joining a clan or something. While solo play is all well and good, duos might be my favorite. Managing 2-man teams is a lot easier, also you get more kills in duos because every person you see likely has a team-mate. Sometimes squad play is just too much. If you are the last person in your group you may still have to take out entire squads of 4 people to win. Although once I did use the matchmaker to join a squad PUG and after 2 of my squad-mates were downed, and 1 killed, I proceeded to take out every single member of the squad that did it with just my trusty pump shotgun. One of my downed team mates died during the confusion and I managed to revive the last dude. We got owned a little later though. Shit had my heart pumping though and I was so fucking stoked when it happened. My living teammate just kept repeating, HOLY SHIT WAX! lol He also thought it was pretty funny that I was yelling into the mic "you fucking sons of bitches" as I was tearing through them. I don't know when you last played WoT, but yeah, it seems like every time I load it up there is another tank tree or sometimes an entirely new country of tanks to play. Who the fuck cares about Swedish tanks? Haha I bought a Locust, which is a tier 3 premium small tank, and that just may be my favorite tank to play. It's just so quick and does pretty decent damage. Really easy to flank people. If you remember the T-50, a small tier 4 russian tank, that used to be my favorite. Was even faster and had a tight turning radius. I had taken out tier 5 heavies with that thing before because I could literally drive around a tank in forward and reverse faster than their guns could turn to hit me. It was nerfed though, speed was cut by like 10-20% and it was bumped up to a tier 5.

Origin somehow got Microids to go along with giving away Syberia 2 for a limited time. Probably a smart move by Microids as Syberia 3 is widely considered to need even more patching for the PC, so this move could buy them some goodwill. www.origin.com/usa/en-us/store/syberia/syberia-2/standard-editionSo I'm going down nostalgia alley with that. The 2D backdrops get nicer once the scenery changes to outdoors, and the 3D overlays like the snow and water are well done.

I was going full bore Russian heavies for a long time and I burned out hard between Tier 8-Tier 9. Just no motivation. I started going up the American TD line, I got to the T25/2 and MAN do I hate that thing. Even with its max upgrades its not that fast, as a TD has shit armor, and the gun isn't that impressive seeing as a Tier 7 every damn time I play I get stuck in Tier 9 battles for some reason. I also have the Tier 7 SPG the ST-51 I think its called which is considered the most OP of the SPGs but wargaming did a fine job of nerfing all arty so they aren't very fun to play anymore. Overall I have found the low tier tanks more fun to play. My KV-1 and KV-1S were a blast compared to my IS3.

lol so I am so out of the loop with WoT that I didn't even know "personal reserves" were a thing. I have a bunch of the xp boost ones going right now.
I stream on twitch pretty regularly but in this case I am so embarrassed over how bad I am at the game now I just can't bring myself to do it.

lol so they added Legendary items to the Diablo 3 Necromancer beta.
In the beta you can access your stash from all yer previous characters. I threw together what I thought looked decent based off of all the items I already had from my other characters, and mixed it with the legendaries. I have been running rifts and just noticed I am the 6th ranked hardcore Necromancer in the world.................lol. I have NO IDEA what I am doing.
Now it is just a beta but still made me laugh.

So I have enough XP in World of Tanks to finally go to Tier 9 after being at Tier 8 for like what 4 or 5 years? lol.
I unlocked the T30 but I still need 1.5 million credits to buy it. Holding off on temptation to sell one of my other tanks.
It looks like a beast:
I could drop $99 and get 10 million credits and 10,000 gold but I am fighting off temptation. WoT is really good at getting money from people.

Sticking with my usual "late to the party" style, I recently started playing Destiny. Cool game. Seems like it could get repetitive fast, but I've heard it doesn't get good until you get into the expansions. I'm doing this mostly as a preview to see if I want to go in for Destiny 2. Activision is finally getting off of Sony's teet and releasing the sequel on PC - like they should have in the first place.

Lately I've been playing Zelda BOTW on WiiU, that game and Pikmin. BOTW doesn't have that classic Zelda feel that I like. I dislike the breaking weapons. If Nintendo keeps this up, I don't think I'm going to get the Switch.

Played the 5th episode of The Walking Dead (Telltale) season 3. It felt difficult to care about what was going on compared to the first two seasons, which had a great story and characters. Season 3 pretty much starts fresh, and the one remaining character from the two previous seasons (Clementine) becomes just a secondary character. She is far too interesting of a character to be put on the back burner like that. Also there's barely any gameplay throughout the whole thing, it's more like an interactive movie with too many QTE's. Also the first 2 seasons had lots of emotion, especially at the end. This one had next to none.
Hopefully season 4 will be better, at the end it strongly hinted that it will be about Clementine.

Decided to finally try Warthunder. It is very similar to World of Tanks. So far it feels more like a ghetto less refined version of WoT. Just first impressions. I haven't played it enough to have a complete opinion.

I finally bit the bullet and got Battlegrounds. Watched a ton of it on twitch so I got the general idea. My first game ever I got shit for guns but I did find a motorcycle. I was riding along and some guy was on foot, he sprayed in my direction and I ran him down for my first kill ever lol. Looted his corpse and he had level 3 armor and an upgraded m16. Score!
