Nearing the end of the Alan Wake 2 New Game Plus "The Final Draft"

Made the same mistake this playthrough as the last one, there is a point you go to a house with a lot of residents. I talked to EVERYONE, clicked on every door.............no progress or anything.......then I noticed at some point my objectives updated to talk to an NPC I had already spoken too multiple times and I didn't even notice. Same thing happened first time I played this section. Like why would I speak to an NPC a 3rd time when I already spoke to them twice?

Last time I played I played as Saga to the end of her story, only switching when it forced me. This time I did the opposite, as soon as I got the opportunity to play as Alan I did his entire story to the end. It doesn't radically change the game but puts a different perspective on things.

Not a fan of this Asmongold guy, but apparently him and all of his followers on Reddit were pre-banned on the subreddit for Dragon Age Veilguard. Thought it was pretty funny.

Contrast Biden admin to Bush Jr admin. Jr let minorities (Colin Powell and Condi Rice) in his administration take the limelight and gain noteriety, by having them routinely speak (on top issues) in front of the press throughout the duration of his administration.. even if Jr only did so because his own approval ratings were in the crapper.

Anybody notice how the woke stuff started to become extremely pervasive in society shortly after Occupy Wall Street? Wow, such an incredible coincidence.

imo, new identity politics protocols (like it being your responsibility to ask trans people their gender upfront to avoid misgendering) is a social engineering ploy that's being used to divide people, so that we're distracted & quarreling with each other, while Wall Street and the super rich continue robbing the middle & poor classes blind. 

Remember when they used to say that whatever went on in other peoples' bedrooms was nobody's business? Interesting how they flipped that a 180 in such a short period of time and now you're the problem if you offend ppl (because u didn't ask their gender).

It's unfortunate that (often) part of wokification is making all of the female character models ugly. A game like Stellar Blade, despite being a much more shallow game, sold like hotcakes because the in-game female characters were hawt.

Its not really a "woke' thing, the art style for the whole game is just.........weird. Like the scary monsters from the rest of the Dragon Age games are "cutsey". I play a dumb mobile zombie game called Zombie Waves on my phone. The art style is similar to that.

This Dragon Age game was restarted twice, at one point they were making a mobile game that they cancelled. It looks like they kept the "kawaii" art style and kinda mixed it with World of Warcraft.

I guess they figured this would attract a GenZ audience that games on their phones? I dunno.

Just know the scary monsters like Darkspawn from the original game in 2009 look like they want to give you a hug. I hate it, but as a huge DA fan I am here for the story.

I've had my issues with shitty reddit moderation, I do understand the Dragon Age mods perspective in this case. You have a new game selling millions of copies, hence a HUGE influx of new people, making your job harder.

Some of them have never played a DA game but are there just to bitch about how "woke" it is. I know that for the previous games they have banned people simply post stuff on the sub like "how come there are GAY characters in this game? wtf? Seriously why are they GAY?!?!"

I've modded enough online communities to not want to deal with the drama, I assume they will turn off the Asmongold auto-ban 6 months from now.

Agree (in the general style).. even if the enemies favor more of Resident Evil or Stranger Things vibe and with greater detail in the graphics.

I don't know much about it either other than the trailer and that it topped the sales charts the first month it was out. That's my main point anyway.. games with attractive female characters typically sale better. It's a shallow reason to buy a game, but "s3x sells" has been a thing for as long as I can remember and i believe it still holds true (just looking at the sales metrics).

He used to get tickets for seating close to the field though. After the prices went up, he probably figured it's better to just watch it on tv, rather than buying cheaper nose-bleed section tickets.

Are you sure you guys aren't knee-jerking about Asmon? I haven't seen his Reddit, however, I've watched a few vids on his YT. I haven't seen any anti-LGBT hate content from him. From what I've seen, if he's attacking anybody, it's the Dem party's leadership emphasis and campaign focus on identity over other issues, like the economy/cost of living and income disparity, that the majority of voters are/were concerned about.

Even Elon Musk, as a close Trump ally, has the balls to admit that one of the biggest problems of AI will be the rise in unemployment and that it's bringing us towards a post-Capitalist economy (which will require UBI or some other system of exhange, in order for everyday people to survive). He said these things just days before the election.




imo, Asmon's right that the Dems should've been talking about this more in their campaign. They should've tooted their own horn about what they've done to bring more good jobs (like CHIPS act) and what they're planning to do (if elected), rather than hyper-focusing on Identity in most of their campaign ads. Telling people the fix for society's issues is compelled speech only turns more ppl off from your party, because it's clearly not a thing that affects them (the majority) much. Not that you can't push for social progressivism (at the same time), but it's simply not going to win enough votes by hyper-focusing on it.

^Was looking at that. I uninstalled Cyberpunk 2077 (since I've pretty much played/seen 100% of it) but pretty sure more stuff will still need to be deleted. edit - also deleted Borderlands 3 (surprisingly took up 95 gigs) and Resident Evil 4 Remake, might re-install RE4R though cause I do remember still being on a new game+ playthrough and it really doesn't take up much space.

As for Asmongold, just don't like the cut of his jib I guess. Kinda don't tend to watch any videogame streamers slash political commentators anyway. Also appears there's other subreddits banning him and his followers, doesn't seem to be any reason other than they disagree with him. Seems to apply to him and anyone who previously posted (even once) on his subreddit.

I am seeing something about SJ saying he is smart though, he does seem smarter than the average streamer.

There's apparently a mod that adds AI to Skyrim NPC's and this guy (supposedly) was able to tell one of them that they are in a videogame, and they actually responded to it as if they believed it. There's other videos of him talking to the NPC's, I think he successfully started a witch hunt against an NPC in another video too. But again, not sure how authentic these are.
