So I just picked up a pair of these off ebay: www.audeze.com/products/lcd-collection/lcd2Wanted to try one of these crazy high end Audeze headphones for years so I got them used off ebay for $550. Anyone buy anything? |

Anyone buy anything? Eek! Those are some expensive headphones. I bet Justin Bieber sounds great on those... I don't think my ears are good enough to really appreciate something that expensive. I'll stick with my €80-90 Sennheisers... I ordered my X-mas present last night as well.  Just too bad the Porsche GT3 is so expensive because I would've like that one as well, but let's not get nuts with the prices... |

Just got the email confirmation my order shipped  I ordered my X-mas present last night as well. Just too bad the Porsche GT3 is so expensive because I would've like that one as well, but let's not get nuts with the prices... That thing looks cool how much? |

I only paid €160 for it in the online shop of our local supermarket, which, considering the amount of pieces, isn't that bad a deal. On the .be Lego site, it's a whopping €70 more expensive, at €230. The Porsche is €330 in the official Lego shop, which currently is the price on the supermarket store page as well, though it was a lot cheaper last weekend. I'm pretty sure it was closer to €230-260, which is still a lot of money for way fewer pieces.

Bought this: us.creative.com/p/sound-blaster/sound-blaster-zI still use an old set of Logitech Z5500 5.1 speakers so I needed a soundcard with SPDIF passthrough for multichannel, since the receiver lacks HDMI (they came out well before HDMI existed). Just wasn't happy using my motherboard's integrated audio with analog for 5.1 sound. There's a very positive difference in sound quality, my speakers sound better than they have in a long time. Motherboard audio does SPDIF too, sounds way better than analog but by design it only outputs 2.1 audio. I did try using Dolby Pro Logic on the Z5500's receiver but it still couldn't do positional audio for gaming. Very happy with this purchase so far. |

I have been laptop only since 2010, I still have my X-Fi Elite Pro I paid $400 for in 2005 sitting in a box somewhere. I don't even know if it still works or how its measurements compare to the SBZ. Last year I got a Dragonfly DAC as my external soundcard: www.audioquest.com/dragonfly-series/It has a built in amp but I wanted something higher quality so I got a Schiit Asgard 2: schiit.com/products/asgard-2Right now I am listening to my Sennheiser HD650s: www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-HD-650-Professional-Headphone/dp/B00018MSNII haven't used computer speakers in ages. I had a pair of 4.1 Logitechs but they are now at my mothers house being uses as their living room surround sound |

Neat. Any reason you chose the BRZ over the GT86, since it's basically the same car... GT86 in Canada doesn't come with some of the features the BRZ has. GT86 isn't available with leather upholstery, still has the old style gauges, and the front end redesign looked ugly in my opinion. |

Well the cable for my Audeze LCD-2 finally came in.
As to be expected they are quite nice but it the biggest difference compared to what I already own is in the human voice. Like I mean in songs or youtube videos people talking just sounds amazing. Very very nice.
