I watched a Youtube vid of its gameplay. Looks like a decent racing sim with nice selection of classic cars. But very little sensation of speed compared to other racing games out there (like Forza Horizons 4 or Assetto Corsa).

Assetto Corsa looks to have tough as nails (realistic) physics and good speed, even though the graphics appear very dated. But for a racing sim, I'd say good physics is more important than good graphics.




Racing games in general probably aren't as good as they could be because it's a niche genre and it's difficult for devs to justify putting much $ into developing them. Reason being, I just saw somewhere that racing games only make up 5% of the video games market.

I had the Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 (joystick) and used it to play "Need For Speed : Porsche Unleashed"

It's one of the best racing games of all time, imo. It's not much to look at today. However, the physics were great/realistic and not matched by most current racing games.



Edit: Your car took damage too (which showed in the graphics and performance/gameplay) and could be repaired & upgraded between races. So this game had lots of depth for a racing game of its time.
