I went into a sell everything and stack money into the bank frenzy about a month ago....oh boy was I going stir crazy sitting inside staring at the wall with no toys! And especially selling my old Seadoo and living directly on the river and hearing all the boats and skis ripping up and down the river all weekend...so hot outside...so nice to get back into the water!! But I learned that all the money in the world is worthless if all you have to do is sit inside and stare at the wall! Not the life for me! I'll take my toys over the money! LOL.

Having some emergency cash stashed away is good. But stacking lots of money in the bank (savings account) is pretty useless, because the paltry interest banks are offering is far outstripped by inflation.
I read that rich people stay rich because they put their money into wealth gaining assets, such as real estate/rental properties, rare art work & collectibles, businesses, and other investments.

Also, you might want to keep your Honda Civic for a while longer. I heard on the radio (npr) the other day that Trump said (or tweeted) that he talked to the Saudis and they agreed to cut oil production. If they follow through, that'll be good for the U.S. oil industry and bad for gas prices.

If they follow through, that'll be good for the U.S. oil industry and bad for gas prices. Raise oil production, not cut it. 
He's fairly likely to get it, partly because the Saudis approve of the US sticking it to Iran.

Is that sort of power normal? It seems ridiculously high. Yes! And there's one more model higher than mine and it has 300 horsepower! The pro racing teams run 500 horsepower (illegal for public use). And I'm keeping the Civic...I like the car. Gas prices? Uh oh...these supercharged jet boats eat up $30/hr in premium gas with the current prices! LOL.
