Regardless, a conspiracy theory usually implies that something DID happen. It's not typically about proving a negative... or asserting that something didn't happen. If you assume someone is guilty without proof, that sounds more like the conspiracy mind-set. The concept of "innocent until proven guilty" is a traditional legal concept, not conspiracy. Admittedly though, doing things the right way (first gathering sufficient evidence and then having a trial), has been eroded by liberal think (#MeToo & believe all women). So it seems like you're running with that type of thinking. The bit you're missing tho is that we'll need Trump accuser/s to step forward, like we had with Clinton, before the #MeToo stuff really applies here. |
