Where I live, in Ohio, the metro park/government kills the deer in response to people feeding them. It's not like people are feeding them in the park, as deer (the ones left) roam freely through peoples' yards, some people put deer food out in their yards. I've heard the gunshots numerous times, from park employees shooting the deer. Instead of shooting deer where people routinely walk around (the park), instead how about don't kill the coyotes so that there's a natural prey/predator balance? Everywhere I've lived in Texas and Tennessee, local governments have allowed coyotes (to keep deer and wild pig populations in check, most likely) and I've never once been attacked. I've walked within 30 feet of a coyote, it was just rolling around in the grass scratching its back like a dog, completely harmless. But here in Ohio people are afraid of them (as though coyotes are a super tough werewolf level predator, preying on humans, or some nonsense). When I lived in Arizona there were Havalinas, nasty wild pigs. Not a fun time running into them on a trail at night but they are far more afraid of people then people are of them Wild pigs multiply fast, they eat just about anything, and are a huge nuisance in many states across the country. Pigs can be very territorial and prone to stand their ground if approached. I've read hunter stories of pigs, in response to being shot at, charging the hunter. Yet another reason why it's idiotic to treat coyotes as a pest. From what I've heard, hunters love killing coyotes. imo, probably because doing so allows deer & pig populations to explode, giving the hunters more animals to hunt. Good for the hunters, bad for just about everybody else.

NJ ATV/Dirt Bike/Offroad life... This is one of our #1 underground spots and is 7000 acres on its own (the two surrounding properties that you never really know when you're crossing into gives you some 20,000 acres of illegal offroad fun.) All beach sand, no rocks, and crystal blue lakes, I love this place and its my second home...this is how we roll in NJ....LOL...

All beach sand, no rocks, and crystal blue lakes, I love this place and its my second home...this is how we roll in NJ....LOL... Here people drive 4wheelers and dirt bikes through the city in packs. Yea and they probably don't get bothered for it either. I was working in Philly and seen a group of bikes and quads ripping down the street right past the police and they didn't even bat an eye at them. But we get bothered out in the woods at abandoned property that only us offroaders care about. But honestly, that place in the video above you're normally safe going there. The police raid was due to too many out of towners coming and destroying the place with garbage and parking outside the property on side streets blocking peoples driveways, loud music all night, causing noise issues with some residents who live close by to some of the property boundaries and a drowning in the lake. I've been there 11 times since last labor day and never seen any police activity in there. I heard that some of the local police grew up riding in there and also the current town mayor used to hang out there as a teen. In fact, on this past labor day probably one of the most sketch days to be there if you're worried about police activity there was again, 100s and 100s of people just camping around the lake and when we left around 5pm in the afternoon, there was tons of people still pouring in. When we drove out of the one trail in the woods onto the road and the police station is only 0.6 miles down the road from the entrance we went in and when we came to the stop light, two police coming out of the station were on the other side of the light pointed right at us and there we were coming out of this hot-spot with a trailer load of ATVs and they didn't even bat an eye at us and turned the opposite way that we went. From what I've witnessed, the police generally don't screw with people here, it's just when things get too out of control and the resident complaints come in they have to respond.
Anyway, the place is amazing, here's a drone shot that I took of one of the 2 mile long lakes that the water looks like something from the carribean....crystal clear blue tropical looking water... The track along the entire parameter of the lake is awesome to rip around the 4 mile length with that crystal blue water right next to your side...

Here's a little scenic tour around part of the one main lake from over the summer...a little behind the scenes from the news video lol. As you can see mostly around towards the end of the video where people are congregating on the open beach area all have zero fucks given about coming here illegally and I filmed this on a Monday, not even a weekend when it's really boomin'...lol. BTW, this lake is 100% man-made from dredge mining and was abandoned in the early 80s and can't be developed on so us underground offroad peeps take it over and make it ours lol.

I never did like 3-wheelers.... so unstable compared to full 4-wheelers and 2-wheelers.

That's back when I would buy random DVDs just to see a movie. You actually went to see it in the movies twice?? Meh. Even my most favorite movies I don't think I would go see more than once at a commercial theater although I keep seeing people posting on Facebook about the 80s movie RAD having a commercial theater re-release....interesting indeed. That's an 80s movie that I loved as a kid but never seen in a commercial theater.

DayZ runs amazing on my new system. I think its more CPU then GPU because IIRC DayZ is an extremely CPU bound game tho no doubt the videocard helps.
Anyway I have more hours in DayZ then most other games but the amount of cheaters is disheartening. A friend of mine and I were doing really well then got wiped out by a dude shooting very weird it was obvious. Another time I died on the coast and was running back to base and ran right into a guy in the absolute middle of nowhere in heavy forest, I thought I got the worst luck ever. I wonder if he was just cheating like these dudes.

It's about that time of the year pigeons are becoming suicidal. In a few weeks they'll start trotting along the side of the road hoping to get hit, or at least that's what I've come to believe. I call them suicide pigeons. These fucking wood pigeons will mosey around the street (mostly at the side though sometimes smack dab in the middle) and if you don't slow down you'll just obliterate them. Pigeons are by far the dumbest. You can't get within 20 meters of crows. They'll notice you and fly off towards the sides. Pigeons sometimes don't even notice until you've already slowed down and are right on top of them. I've had these pigeons fly up from right in front of my bumper only to sit back down on the road literally meters ahead. Dude, seriously. You're a bird, why are you so attracted to the fucking road?

The fact that making Alien 3 was a cluster fuck is well known but this deep dive into the backstory is the best I've heard.
Apparently the most iconic shot in the movie and arguably the whole series only exists because Fincher ignored the rules from the producers "No close shots of Ripley and the Xenomorph"

Seen that movie in the theater when it came out. My friend was puking on the floor during the movie, blamed it on motion sickness from the POV of the alien when it climbs onto the ceiling moving upside down lol. Fun fact: This was the same movie theater that I seen my first movie in a theater as a child (E.T.) and Alien 3 was the last movie that I seen there. Good ole days.... It's a historic theater that dates back to 1926 and originally played silent movies.

This was in my YouTube recommends, can't say I care much about steam engines but its shot well and tells an interesting story.
Apparently in the early 1900s they switched to more modern technology and were supposed to scrap this late 1800s/early 1900s tech. Instead they just kept it locked up and forbid anyone access and basically kept it a secret. The Mayor had 8 terms in office and he had no idea any of this existed

Speaking of puking on the floor at the theater, when I was a kid we went to see Crooklyn, Spike Lee's movie about growing up in Brooklyn in the 1970s. About 3/4ths through the movie one of the people I was with got sick and puked everywhere, so we left. I never actually finished that movie till like 5 years ago.

The worst I've ever been sick like that was this one Friday at school on pizza day (school pizza was delicious) I ordered two but on this particular day they were really greasy, puddles of grease on them. Not sure if this is what made me sick but about 45 minutes after eating I started not feeling well. My friends sister and her husband took us that night to see WWF wrestling and boy did I have a puke fest. In the car, in the hallways of the arena, on the floor under the arena seats and the floor where the seats are on in the arena were basically just concrete steps all the way down and my puke was just pouring down like a water fall under peoples chairs lol. To make things worse, when we came back out to the car someone had smashed the windows out of the car. So we had no windows on the way home plus a car full of puke...best night out ever!
