I think I have both of them on DVD from a long time ago.
I'm starting to like digital and streaming better, it's just very convenient. I just wish they were cheaper to buy, sometimes you can find or receive a promo code to get it for cheaper. I think I bought The Force Awakens in 4K for $5 on Google Play, the only movie I bought for full price off of there ever was Snowpiercer. All the other movies I have on digital are from physical copies I've bought. For how much movies cost digitally, they should be sending you a copy on blu-ray and/or DVD as well.
Speaking of which, I remember buying Interstellar on blu-ray 3 years ago and it had a digital code that I never redeemed. Decided to try and it actually still worked.

If I hadn't bought a 3d card back in the days when Open GL required a second video card, I wouldn't have gotten into PC gaming nor interested in building my own, and tearing it open to take a look at its guts. Then I wouldn't have pursued a job in IT/IS, and would likely be bored out of my mind reading case briefs all day. The Rift is still the 3d card that pairs up with your 2d desktop. But....https://www.oculus.com/quest/ technology is moving quickly, and you will soon not need cables or a PC in order to play VR games. The games are progressing nicely as well. Try not to let sour grapes blur your vision of the future. I'm sure there are still HD-DVD people out there complaining about Blu Ray. Technology is fun.

At least Netflix is marketed correctly as a service. When you buy a physical copy of a game, the whole premise is that you own a copy of the game. As consumers, we should be wary of spending too much on temporary services. Before purchasing a game, ask yourself, is this game worth $60 (or $100+, for the special edition) considering that it's probably a long-term rental? Maybe better wait a year or two, and pick it up when the price drops to $20 or less. Alternatively, subscribe to a VPN and buy an Nvidia Shield TV, USB storage device, Xbox controller. Then download a ton of emulators & roms for free. You're going to really hate Microsoft's vision for their next OS then. lol!

I've got a shitload of those, never redeemed a single one. Why would I want an inferior version of a movie I'm never going to watch as long as I have the actual one?

I predicted here a long time ago that Microsoft would turn Windows into a subscription based service. Of course, someone called BS. Well, looks like we'll find out soon enough. lol

Even with fire, perhaps the most primitive invention/tech but arguably the greatest, ppl have to deal with a criminal aspect (arson).

I haven't played Hunt Showdown in months. 4.0 came out today and my friend picked it up. Our first two games we got rekt, then we had a match where I got 5 kills and we got the boss and extracted. Got an epic fuckload of XP plus had a good moment where we baited them lol:

I briefly played the DayZ mod years ago but never gave it much of a chance. Turns out DayZ standalone is free for the next few days and nearing 1.0 so I am going to check it out.
I have zero expectations they will ever really finish it but hey free is free

I picked up Hades this weekend after I saw a PA comic about it. It's a Rogue-like with some variety and a storyline. I like how unique it feels, and it looks like the developers put in quality and fun into the game. I'm not typically a fan of rogue-likes, although I've enjoyed a couple...this one is pretty top notch. (Minus having to install it with Epic's dumb game service). Now I have Steam, Oculus, Epic, GOG, Ubisoft freaking game loaders. Starting to not enjoy this.

I just picked up Mass Effect Andromeda for $4. Not bad. Glad I held off on getting it till now. It's not nearly as bad as people made it out to be, the worlds are huge and look great and there is plenty to do. I actually still haven't finished it, will need to go back and complete it soon (just that open-world types of games tend to put me to sleep, the sheer scope of ME:A really made me feel drowsy). For a Mass Effect game, it is quite different and the story feels mediocre compared to the old trilogy. Also the voice acting and facial animations are distractingly bad, though they have made the facial animations much better with patches. Anthem looks to be using much of the same gameplay mechanics as ME:A, most notably the jetpack combat.

Decided to randomly hop on World of Tanks for the first time in a while. Got to see this which was fun lol lol I remember one time I was playing and had the game alt tabbed. I was in a T67 and when I clicked back in the game window, it made my gun fire and I blew a track off of a friendly tank. I was extremely apologetic and assured them it was an accident, all they said was "lol." I think they understood what happened. They ended up fixing that issue with clicking back in the game window making the gun fire.

By the time you are TX you are supposed to know how to play the game, that is where the best players are. After the clip posted above I went into a match on my IS-7. I did my best to not rush like a noob or in general let down my team. I was pegging people and managed 3 kills. All the sudden the chat is like "Is our IS-7 a bot or just fucking retarded?"....lol. I suppose I should study strategy guides for each map or something. We won and at the end tally I was in 3rd place for points overall for the whole map. I can play T9 all day and nobody bitches about me but I go into TX and its like nothing you do is right even if you win.

I think I was working towards the IS-7, got to the IS (tier VII is the highest I've gotten) and the Tiger I. I had lots of fun with the Tiger I one of the last times I was playing. There were only a few of us left and more enemy tanks still left, we were losing. All of a sudden I just started picking off enemy tanks left and right, even rammed a few, one of them while I was going downhill. My whole team was cheering me and then we won.

Crazy fun matches can happen like that at the lower tier, TX is a different ball game that I don't really understand. I had one tonight where we won and didn't lose a single tank. It was nuts. I wish I recorded it. Everytime I play TX I'm like "am I playing like shit right now?" and hyper paranoid about angles.

I have a confession to make, I've been playing Fallout 76. It's not perfect for sure, but I guess it's because I enjoyed Fallout 4 so much that I find myself enjoying it for the most part. Also built a kickass house. My session earlier lasted 4 hours before the servers went down for maintenance. Explored mostly, found some really cool stuff, also made a friend right before the server went down. I'm level 32 now.

I've got an extra code (gog.com) for "EVERSPACE" for purchasing $15 of games during their holiday sale. It's a space sim and VR compatible. It figures, I already own the game though.
Here's the code for anybody who wants to try & redeem it.

Reply to my post if you successfully redeem the code, then I can edit this post and others don't waste their time trying to redeem it.

I have a couple friends who played it hardcore after I refunded. I might be willing to play it again after 6 more months of patches and if I can get it on a steep sale.
