So I did Windows Update and then my mouse wouldn't work. For a minute I thought my Zowie FK1 finally died because I have been using it heavily since 2016(1,000 hours of PUBG will wear out a LOT of mice lol) Turns out the issue was you need to turn off "fast startup": www.windowscentral.com/how-disable-windows-10-fast-startupI turned it off and rebooted and good to go.

It didn't kill my mouse (Logitech G402) but it did put a HUGE white searchbar on my start menu which is annoying. *edit* Luckily you can right click it and either hide it or set it to show only the search icon.

A windows update that creates more problems than it solves? How is that possible?

A windows update that creates more problems than it solves? How is that possible? Through a patented formula called "microshafting" the customer.

The update only happened for me today and my FK1 is still working, so maybe they fixed the issue.
