It's me Emig5m Emig5m Emig5m or Emig5m etc... Me and all of my aliases are all still here too! I remember Dabson but not evilqtips...
I personally didn't care for the Voodoo 5. I had two six months apart and both went back for a refund. Games like Motocross Madness 2 ran worse than the Voodoo 3 and not only did the Geforce 2 GTS ran much smoother and faster but also had sharper and clearer graphics compared to the V5 that looked bland and fuzzy in comparison (Motocross Madness 2 was a official nvidia T&L supported game though.) But Quake IIIa was all the rage back then and although I will admit it ran great on the V5, the image quality difference was the same as MCM2 - The V5 was kinda bland and fuzzy and the GF2 GTS was sharper and shinier looking. I remember back then that the strong point of the V5 was image quality over the GF 2's speed but from my personal experience the GF2 still had better image quality along with more speed. I guess you could of fired up Unreal Tournament in glide on the V5 and claimed the opposite so I suppose it was dependent on what game(s) you where running and for the games I was running at the time, the GF2 was clearly the better card for me (owned both, wasn't a fanboy, chose which one truly worked better for me on my main games and even though I mentioned Quake, Quake wasn't one of them since I've never cared much for Quake.)
